SWITCH UNIT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SWITCH SUBSTRATE
20210166896 · 2021-06-03 ·

A switch unit includes a substrate, which includes a hard layer and a soft layer; a first contact point above the soft layer; a second contact point around the first contact point; a conduction spring member which is elastically deformable into contact with the first contact point to make a conduction between the first contact point and the second contact point; a first external electrode; a first through-hole electrode which is electrically connected to the first contact point; and a first wiring pattern, which is electrically connected to the first external electrode and the first through-hole electrode.

Light emitting keyboard and lighting board thereof

A light emitting keyboard includes a bottom board, keyswitches, and a lighting board. The lighting board is disposed between the bottom board and the keyswitches or under the bottom board and includes a flexible substrate having a first hole, multiple-light emitting diodes corresponding to the keyswitches, first and second silver-paste circuit layers formed on upper and lower surfaces of the flexible substrate respectively, a via pillar formed in the first hole to be coupled to the first and second silver-paste circuit layers, a copper layer plated on the first and second silver-paste circuit layers, and a first protection layer coated on the copper layer and having second holes. Each multiple-light emitting diode is disposed on the copper layer plated on the first silver-paste circuit layer through the corresponding second hole to be coupled to the first silver-paste circuit layer.

REDUCED LAYER KEYBOARD STACK-UP

Disclosed herein is a stack-up for an input device. The stack-up may include a flexible substrate having a switch and a light source. The switch has at least two contacts that are bridged in response to actuation of a dome that is positioned above the switch. The flexible substrate includes a signal trace for detecting the actuation of the dome and a power trace for providing power to the light source.
