Electronic Device Having a Sealed Biometric Input System
A portable electronic device may include a housing member defining a side surface of the portable electronic device, a portion of the housing member defining a side wall of a hole extending through the housing member, a button member positioned along the side surface and defining a chassis portion and a hollow post extending into the hole defined through the housing member, and a first waterproof seal defined between the hollow post and the side wall of the hole. The portable electronic device may also include a biometric sensing component coupled to the chassis portion, a flexible circuit element extending through the hollow post and conductively coupling the biometric sensing component to a component within the housing, and a second waterproof seal defined within the hollow post.
Rocker assembly structure
A rocker assembly structure includes a pedestal having a base portion, and a keycap. A bottom wall of the accommodating groove protrudes upward to form a rod portion. Several portions of a peripheral surface of the rod portion are recessed inward to form a plurality of first guiding grooves. A lower portion of an inner wall of each first guiding groove is recessed inward to form a buckling slot. A front of the peripheral surface of the rod portion is further recessed inward to form a second guiding groove. The keycap covers the rod portion. Several portions of an inner wall of the keycap protrudes inward to form a plurality of buckling blocks. The plurality of the buckling blocks are disposed in the buckling slots of the plurality of the first guiding grooves and the second guiding groove.
Luminous keyboard
A luminous keyboard includes plural keys, a membrane switch circuit member, a supporting plate and a backlight module. The membrane switch circuit member is located under the plural keys, and includes an upper wiring plate, a lower wiring plate and a separation plate. The supporting plate is located under the membrane switch circuit member and connected with the plural keys. The backlight module is located under the supporting plate to generate a light beam. A periphery region of at least one of the upper wiring plate, the lower wiring plate and the separation plate is bent to cover the supporting plate and the backlight module. Consequently, the light beam is not leaked out through the periphery region of the backlight module.
LUMINOUS KEYBOARD
A luminous keyboard includes plural keys, a membrane switch circuit member, a supporting plate and a backlight module. The membrane switch circuit member is located under the plural keys, and includes an upper wiring plate, a lower wiring plate and a separation plate. The supporting plate is located under the membrane switch circuit member and connected with the plural keys. The backlight module is located under the supporting plate to generate a light beam. A periphery region of at least one of the upper wiring plate, the lower wiring plate and the separation plate is bent to cover the supporting plate and the backlight module. Consequently, the light beam is not leaked out through the periphery region of the backlight module.
Electronic device including component mounting structure through bended display
An electronic device and its operating method are provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a first surface, a second surface facing the first surface in a spaced apart manner, and a lateral surface surrounding a space between the first surface and the second surface, a display mounted to the housing and including a flat area substantially corresponding to the first surface and a bending area extended from the flat area in a direction of the lateral surface, a filler disposed between the housing and the bending area of the display, at least one electronic component which is installed to the filler and of which one part is exposed to the outside by penetrating at least one region of the bending area of the display, a detection circuit disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the electronic component to detect an operation of the electronic component, and at least one processor operatively coupled to the detection circuit and the display to provide control to perform a corresponding function of the electronic device on the basis of a provided detection signal.

An electronic device and its operating method are provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a first surface, a second surface facing the first surface in a spaced apart manner, and a lateral surface surrounding a space between the first surface and the second surface, a display mounted to the housing and including a flat area substantially corresponding to the first surface and a bending area extended from the flat area in a direction of the lateral surface, a filler disposed between the housing and the bending area of the display, at least one electronic component which is installed to the filler and of which one part is exposed to the outside by penetrating at least one region of the bending area of the display, a detection circuit disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the electronic component to detect an operation of the electronic component, and at least one processor operatively coupled to the detection circuit and the display to provide control to perform a corresponding function of the electronic device on the basis of a provided detection signal.
Flexible printed circuit board of light guide module and cut-out structure thereof
A flexible printed circuit board of a light guide module and a cut-out structure thereof. The flexible printed circuit board is made by cutting an FPC material and is formed after folding and unfolding. The flexible printed circuit board includes two light emitting plates and an extension strip. The two light emitting plates each has a connection portion. The extension strip is integrally connected between the two connection portions. Two ends of the two light emitting plates and the extension strip have two fold lines respectively, so that the extension strip is disposed between the two light emitting plates along an extension direction to separate the two light emitting plates away from each other.

A flexible printed circuit board of a light guide module and a cut-out structure thereof. The flexible printed circuit board is made by cutting an FPC material and is formed after folding and unfolding. The flexible printed circuit board includes two light emitting plates and an extension strip. The two light emitting plates each has a connection portion. The extension strip is integrally connected between the two connection portions. Two ends of the two light emitting plates and the extension strip have two fold lines respectively, so that the extension strip is disposed between the two light emitting plates along an extension direction to separate the two light emitting plates away from each other.
