Multilayer Switchdome Systems and Methods

Multilayer switchdome systems and methods are presented that may enable improved tactile and strength properties and enhanced action. Embodiments may utilize a first layer of spring material (1) and at least a second layer of spring material (2) to form a switchdome component (4). In certain embodiments, the spring material layers may be conjoined by utilizing a switchdome bond (3) to create an integrated bonded composite spring sheet material (7). Various forming processes (8) may be employed in performing the varying embodiments of a method of switchdome component (4) forming. The varying forming processes (8) may improve the physical properties of the tactile switchdome component (4). The varying processes, spring materials, and switchdome bond types may be optimized for a particular application.

A backlight module assembling method is provided for assembling a backlight module of a luminous keyboard. The backlight module includes a first coupled element and a second coupled element in a stack form. Firstly, a positioning device is provided. After the first coupled element is aligned with a predetermined position of an assembling table surface through the positioning device, the first coupled element is placed on the predetermined position. Then, the first coupled element on the predetermined position is adsorbed according to vacuum adsorption. Consequently, the first coupled element is evenly fixed on the predetermined position. After the first coupled element is evenly fixed on the predetermined position, the second coupled element is aligned with and placed on the first coupled element. Consequently, the second coupled element and the first coupled element are combined together.

Method of manufacturing an open-cavity fuse using a sacrificial member

A method of assembly of an open-cavity, wire-in-air fuse which provides improved manufacturing yield and fuse reliability, involving coiling, braiding or twisting a fusible element around a sacrificial member during the manufacturing process to provide support for the fusible element to prevent mechanical breakages and necking problems commonly encountered during manufacture.

A sensor switch includes a ceramic body, first and second conductive units and a conductive member. The ceramic body includes intermediate, bottom and top layer assemblies cooperatively defining a chamber. The intermediate layer assembly has an intermediate layer inner peripheral surface. The bottom layer assembly has a bottom groove communicating with the chamber. The first conductive unit has a first conductive layer covering the intermediate layer inner peripheral surface. The second conductive unit has at least one second conductive layer disposed in the bottom groove. The conductive member is rollably disposed in the chamber for forming a current path with the first and second conductive layers.

Method for fabricating keyboard covering film

A method for fabricating a keyboard covering film is provided. The method includes steps of: coating a transparent plastic material on an upper surface of a fabric layer before the transparent plastic material is cured; treating the fabric layer and the transparent plastic material by a hot press process to cure the transparent plastic material to form a transparent layer and to make the transparent layer and the fabric layer jointly form a number of keycap receiving sections; forming a mask layer on a lower surface of the fabric layer; removing a portion of the mask layer and a portion of the fabric layer located within each of the keycap receiving sections to form a number of hollow patterns.
