Electronic control device including a thermal mass element
An electronic control device includes a relay including a relay case and an electromagnet and a contact part. The relay case is structured to contain the electromagnet and the contact part. The contact part is structured to be opened and closed by action of the electromagnet. A connector terminal is electrically connected to the relay. A circuit board is structured to mount the relay and the connector terminal thereon. An exterior shell is structured to contain the circuit board such that the connector terminal is exposed outside the exterior shell. A thermal mass element is disposed in a wiring route between the relay and the connector terminal.

Push switch
A push switch includes a base member including a depressed accommodating part, a fixed contact member provided and exposed in the accommodating part of the base member, a movable contact member installed in the accommodating part and including a dome part configured to be reversible to contact the fixed contact member, a sheet member installed to cover the accommodating part and hold the movable contact member, a pusher member installed between the top of the dome part and the sheet member, and a sheet-shaped reinforcing member formed of a material having a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than the sheet member. The reinforcing member is installed over the sheet member.
Method and device for controlling relays of in-vehicle motor
A relay control method is provided for controlling an in-vehicle motor that includes a steering angle main control module. The main control module has a power supply relay is connected to a battery, a motor drive circuit connected to a fixed contact of the power supply relay via a bus bar, and a phase relay connected to the motor drive circuit via a bus bar. The motor drive circuit contacts a heat radiation part that has a higher thermal conductivity than the power supply relay. After the ignition is turned off and with the switches for the power supply relay and the phase relay remaining in the on state, a motor energization control is performed for maintaining a rotation stop state in the motor for a predetermined time, and after the predetermined time has elapsed, the switch of the power supply relay is switched to off.

Flow switch assembly featuring two-part base assembly with non-metallic upper part and metallic lower part
A flow switch assembly features a two-part base assembly having lower and upper base parts. The lower base part is made from a metallic material, adapted on piping having a fluid flow, and configured with a central orifice to receive a paddle arm that pivots on an axis and responds to fluid flow in the piping. The upper base part is made from a non-metallic material, configured with a corresponding central orifice to receive the paddle arm, and configured with a channel to receive a pivot arm to mount and allow the paddle arm to pivot on the axis to actuate an ON/OFF switch in response to fluid flow. The non-metallic material has a lower coefficient of heat transfer than the metallic material to reduce condensation build-up in the flow switch assembly when the flow switch assembly is used in cold applications and exposed to temperatures below freezing.
