Medium voltage breaker conductor with an electrically efficient contour

The present disclosure provides a conductive member for a circuit breaker high voltage portion conductor assembly, the conductive member including a body with a transfer portion and a coupling portion. The body transfer portion has an electro-thermally efficient contour. That is, the body transfer portion has an electrically efficient contour and a thermally efficient contour. The body transfer portion includes a number of slots defining fins. In this configuration, the body transfer portion distributes current generally evenly across a cross-sectional area of the conductive member body. Further, the fins provide heat dissipation via convection.

Keyswitch device

A keyswitch device includes a bottom plate, a keycap, and a position-returning member. The keycap includes a metal cover and a covering member. The metal cover includes a first main body. The first main body has a first surface and a second surface respectively facing toward and facing away from the bottom plate. The first surface presents a pattern. The covering member includes a second main body covering the first surface. The second main body has a light-transmitting area covering the pattern. The position-returning member is disposed between the bottom plate and the keycap and contacts the first main body.

Thermal management in high power RF MEMS switches

The present disclosure generally relates to a mechanism for making a MEMS switch that can switch large electrical powers. Extra landing electrodes are employed that provide added electrical contact along the MEMS device so that when in contact current and heat are removed from the MEMS structure close to the hottest points.
