The push electrode pad is electrically connected to the conductive material of the touch surface responsive to the depressed position and electrically isolated from the conductive material of the touch surface in the released position.
Electronic device including electrically conductive connection member
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a printed circuit board disposed inside the housing and including a first face and a second face that faces away from the first face, a connection member disposed on the first face and electrically connected to the printed circuit board, a switch member disposed on the first face and at least partially overlaps the connection member when viewed from above the first face, and a button member including an electrically conductive member, and disposed to be capable of operating the switch member. The electrically conductive member is electrically connected to the connection member.
Power seat operating device having seesaw type switch for vehicle
A power seat operating device for a vehicle has a switch module for operating a power seat of the vehicle. In particular, the switch module includes a plurality of seesaw type switches to control operation directions of the power seat, and the operation directions of the power seat according to the operation of each switch is displayed with arrows on a display, thereby improving the switch operating convenience of the user such as accurately controlling the operation direction of the power seat according to the switch operation by the user, and accurately recognizing a selection state and an operation direction of the switch desired by the user.
UNIFORM LIGHT HALO FOR SINGLE KEYBOARD KEY
A keyboard includes a mechanical structure and a key attached to the mechanical structure. A light emitting diode configured to emit light into a light guide panel. A reflector may be attached to the light guide panel and be configured to reflect light from the light guide panel through an opening in the mechanical structure to illuminate a periphery of the key.
OPERATION DEVICE
An operation device includes an operation knob that is operable by a pull-up operation and a push-down operation about a shaft and includes a front-end operation region on a front-end side far from the shaft and a rear-end operation region on a rear end side close to the shaft, a contact detection unit to detect contact of a user with the front-end operation region and the rear-end operation region, an operation detection unit to detect the pull-up operation and the push-down operation performed on the operation knob, and a determination unit that determines an operation performed by combining contact with the front-end operation region and the rear-end operation region detected by the contact detection unit and the pull-up operation and the push-down operation detected by the operation detection unit, and also determines that at least an operation performed on the rear-end operation region is invalid when the contact is detected.
INTELLIGENT HYBRID TOUCH DISPLAY DEVICE
An intelligent hybrid touch display device, including: a touch display unit; a rotary mechanical switch, being integrated with the touch display unit in a body; and a control unit, located in the body and including: a first interface for driving the touch display unit; a second interface coupled with the rotary mechanical switch; a touch and switch detection unit coupled with the first interface and the second interface; a transmission interface for communicating with at least one external device; and a processor and an operating system stored in a memory, the processor being coupled with the touch and switch detection unit and the transmission interface, and being used for executing a control program with a support of the operating system, so that the touch display unit and the rotary mechanical switch can cooperate to provide a hybrid operation for selecting, changing or activating function options.
KNOB ON DISPLAY
One or more examples relate to a knob-on-display. An apparatus of such a knob-on-display includes a touch surface, a dome switch pad, a dome switch, a rotation electrode pad, and an electrically conductive structure. The touch surface may include an electrically conductive material, the touch surface movable to a released position and to a depressed position. The dome switch may include an electrically conductive material. The dome switch may be physically mounted to and electrically connected to the dome switch pad. The rotation electrode pad may be in engagement proximity to a touch sensor of a touch screen device in both the released position and the depressed position. The electrically conductive structure may be physically and electrically connected to the dome switch pad and the rotation electrode pad, the electrically conductive structure defining a continuous electrically conductive path from the rotation electrode pad, through the dome switch, to the electrically conductive material of the touch surface in both the released position and the depressed position.
APPARATUS TO SECURE A SENSOR ASSEMBLY FOR A DEVICE TOUCH BUTTON
An apparatus to secure a sensor assembly for a device touch button (such as for a mobile communications device). A touch sensor slot forms a part of the device case interior at a back-side of the touch button surface, and is configured to position the touch sensor (such as a sense coil inductor) relative to the associated touch button. A touch sensor spring clip is inserted within the touch sensor slot to flexibly urge the touch sensor toward the front-side surface of the touch sensor slot (back-side of the touch button surface). The touch sensor can include front-side spacers to maintain a sensing gap between the touch sensor and the touch button surface, and can include a sensor stiffener at the back-side surface of the touch sensor assembly, the touch sensor spring clip contacting the sensor stiffener. The touch sensor assembly can comprise a flex circuit PCB assembly.
SLIM-TYPE KEYBOARD
A slim-type keyboard includes a first flexible layer, a pressed frame and a circuit board assembly. The first flexible layer includes plural pressed regions. The pressed frame includes plural cantilever strips. The circuit board assembly includes plural dome switches. The plural cantilever strips are covered by the first flexible layer. The pressed regions are aligned with the cantilever strips and the dome switches, respectively. When one of the pressed regions is pressed, the cantilever strip is pushed down to trigger the corresponding dome switch. Each cantilever strip includes a U-shaped groove and a suspension end. The U-shaped groove opens to the suspension end. Consequently, the tactile feel of pressing the cantilever strip is improved.
CONTROL DEVICE BASE THAT ATTACHES TO THE PADDLE ACTUATOR OF A MECHANICAL SWITCH
A remote control device may control electrical loads and/or load control devices of a load control system without accessing electrical wiring. The remote control device may include a control unit and a base for the control unit. The base may include a frame and a mounting tab that attaches to the paddle actuator of a mechanical switch. The mounting tab may be monolithic with the frame. Alternatively, the base may include a resilient attachment member that extends from the frame and is captively retained by the mounting tab. The frame and the attachment member may be configured such that the attachment member is held in a fixed in position by the frame, or such that the attachment member is translatable relative to the frame. The base may include one or more alignment members. The base may cause a rear surface of the frame to be biased against the mechanical switch.
