An electrical switch device including a switch housing having first and second compartments separated by a partition; an electrical switch assembly disposed in the second compartment; a control knob configured for seating adjacent to the first compartment, and having a user engagement portion and a plunger configured to extend from user engagement portion from the first compartment in to the second compartment via an opening in the partition separating the first and second compartments when the control knob is seated, and said plunger being configured for movable interaction with the electrical switch assembly; and a sealing member including a base portion configured for securing of the sealing member to the housing, and, a tubular portion extending from the base portion and configured to surround the plunger so as to alleviate ingress of liquid from the first compartment in to the second compartment via the opening in the partition.

An electronic device is provided that includes a housing including a key hole and a vent hole, a button member including a body part disposed to cover the key hole and the vent hole, and a button protrusion inserted into the key hole, a substrate member including a switch actuated based on the button protrusion, a base disposed between the housing and the substrate member to cover the substrate member, a waterproof member including a sealing part, formed to protrude from the base to surround a perimeter at least one of the key hole and the vent hole, which has at least a part in close contact with the outer wall, a conduit for connecting an internal space and outside of the electronic device through the vent hole, and a waterproof cover disposed on the conduit so as to block moisture flowing in through the vent hole.

A toggle switch includes a hollow base, a switch mechanism, a cover, a bushing extending from the cover, a toggle lever, and a one piece resilient sealing component. The sealing component includes a lever seal surrounding the toggle lever and covering the inner wall of the bushing for sealing a space between the toggle lever and the bushing. A cover seal forms a lower closed sealing ring compressed between the cover and the base for sealing the cover to the base. The one piece resilient sealing component also includes an upper closed sealing ring surrounding the bushing and extending on a portion of the upper surface of the cover for cooperating with a panel for mounting the switch.

A toggle switch includes a hollow base, a switch mechanism, a cover, a bushing extending from the cover, a toggle lever, and a one piece resilient sealing component. The sealing component includes a lever seal surrounding the toggle lever and covering the inner wall of the bushing for sealing a space between the toggle lever and the bushing. A cover seal forms a lower closed sealing ring compressed between the cover and the base for sealing the cover to the base. The one piece resilient sealing component also includes an upper closed sealing ring surrounding the bushing and extending on a portion of the upper surface of the cover for cooperating with a panel for mounting the switch.
