Guard locking switch with three concurrent directions of approach
An industrial locking switch comprises multiple locking tongue entry slots formed on adjacent sides of the locking switch housing, thereby supporting receipt of the corresponding locking tongue from multiple directions of approach without the need to mechanically modify the switch's head or to reorient the switch itself. The locking switch houses locking bolt detection circuity comprising multiple series connected RFID coils configured to detect an RFID tag mounted on the locking tongue when the locking tongue is inserted into any of the entry slots.
Safety Switch with Lock-Out Device
A safety switch with a lock-out device comprises a switching unit (2) adapted to be anchored to a fixed part of a structure and provided with switching means adapted to be operatively connected with at least the power supply circuit of the plant to be controlled for the opening/closing thereof, an operating unit (3) adapted to be anchored to a movable part of the structure and having actuating means (5) adapted to interact with the switching means upon the closing of the movable part on the fixed part to enable the closing of the power supply circuit, a lock-out device (16) associated with the switching unit (2) and having a guard (17) movable between an inactive position adapted to allow the interaction between the switching means and the actuating means (5) and an active position wherein the interaction is avoided. The switching means and the actuating means (5) are of the electronic type and are respectively associated with a first communication element (6) and a second communication element (7) adapted to remote communicating therebetween by means of a presence signal and to allow the switching means to discriminate the presence of the operating unit (3) close to the switching unit (2). The movable guard (17) comprises a shielding element (20) adapted to interpose itself between the communication elements (6, 7) when the guard (17) is into the active position to avoid the transmission of the signal and the closing of the switching means.
Safety switch
A safety switch (2) with a latching unit (12), by means of which an associated actuator (3) is held in a latched position. The latching unit (12) has an opening (9) and a blocking element. In a latched position, the blocking element projects into the opening (9) and rear-engages an actuator head (8) of the actuator (3), which is in the latched position. The blocking element is held in the latched position by means of a positioning element with a setting force. When the actuator head (8) is inserted into or removed from the opening (9), the actuator head (8) pivots the blocking element out against the setting force.
Safety switch with detection of the end stroke of the unlocking mechanism
A safety switch with detection of the end-stroke of the unlocking mechanism adapted to supervise a safety access of a machine or industrial plant comprises a switching device (2) adapted to be associated to the fixed part of an access to be supervised and having switching means (5) adapted to be operatively connected to one or more control and/or service circuits of the plant for the control thereof, an operating device (3) associated to a movable part of the access to interact with the switching means (5) at the time of opening/closing of the access for opening/closing of one or more circuits, an unlocking mechanism (13) housed in the switching device (2) and having an unlocking pin (14) adapted to translate with maximum predetermined stroke from a blocking position of the access to an unlocked position to determine the opening of the switching means (5), means (17) for the detection of the stroke of the unlocking pin (14) comprising a first detector (18) adapted to detect the start of the stroke of the unlocking pin (14) and a second detector (19) adapted to detect the end of the stroke of the unlocking pin (14).
Actuator
An actuator (3) for a safety switch (2) with an actuator head (8), said actuator head being mounted to a core body (6) by means of a connection element (7). The actuator head (8) has, at least in parts, a larger cross section than the connection element (7). The connection element (7) is rigid in the axial direction. The actuator head (8) is held in a base position by means of the connecting element (7). In this base position, the longitudinal axis of the connection element (7) runs at an angle of inclination to the surface of the core body (6).
Method for consigning a function of an electrical device and electrical device implementing this method
A method for consigning a function of an electrical device includes: a) receiving a request to consign a function implemented by a sub-assembly of the electrical device, the request being transmitted by a client terminal connected to the control unit via a short-range communication link; b) generating a digital key including a unique identifier; c) storing one copy of the generated key in a memory of the control unit and sending another copy of the generated key to the client terminal that transmitted the request; d) consigning the function so as to prevent this function of the device from being used by the control unit as long as the consignation is active.
Safety switch arrangement
A safety switch arrangement with a safety switch and an actuator associated with it. Moreover, a locking unit is provided for, by means of which the actuator is locked in a latched position. The safety switch has an auxiliary unlocking unit that has a mechanically actuatable actuating element. An actuation of the actuating element is implemented only with a transmission element as a positioning movement for the locking unit.
Safety switch with detection of the driving of an auxiliary unlocking control
A safety switch comprises a switching device (2) having a casing (4) housing switching means (5) connected to one or more circuits, an operating device (3) interacting with the switching means (5) for opening/closing the circuits, an unlocking mechanism (13) having an unlocking pin (14) translating with a maximum stroke from a locking position of the access to an unlocking position to operate the opening of the switching means (5), detection means (17) of the stroke of the unlocking pin (14) having a first detector (18) of the start of the stroke of the unlocking pin (14), an auxiliary unlocking control (25, 26) operatively connected to the unlocking mechanism (13) from a rest position to an operative position of unlocking of the access and promote the translation of the unlocking pin (14) The detection means (17) comprise an auxiliary detector (31) for detecting the actuation of the auxiliary unlocking control (25, 26).
Safety switch
A cam of a safety switch rotates about a rotational shaft in accordance with an operation of inserting an actuator into an opening and an operation of withdrawing the actuator. A switch part includes an operation rod that reciprocates according to a rotation angle of the cam, and detects an insertion state where the actuator is inserted in the opening. In the insertion state, a locking member locks the actuator upon engagement with a part of the cam. When the operation of withdrawing the actuator is performed in a locked state of the actuator, the cam pushes the locking member in one direction, and the locking member pushes a part of a head case in the one direction. This improves locking strength of the safety switch.
