SAFETY SWITCH ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a safety switch assembly (100) having a switch installation (120) having at least one switching member (12) and at least one actuation installation (110) having at least one assigned actuator (13, 13′, 13″, 14), wherein a transmission installation (130) having at least one transmission member (135) which is coupleable or coupled to the switching member (12, 12a), on the one hand, and to the at least one actuator (13, 13′, 13″, 14), on the other hand is provided between the actuation installation (110) and the switch installation (120). In order to have available a safety switch assembly (100) in which a mechanical fault does not lead to a failure of that functionality that optionally permits the integration of a diagnostic function in order for the system in the case of a fault being detected to be able to be brought back to a safe state and that permits a transfer of mechanical as well as of electrical/electronic functions across the entire system, it is provided that the transmission installation (120) is provided with a plurality of separate transmission members (135) which in the actuation of the at least one actuator (13, 13′, 13″, 14) of the actuation installation (110) are drivable or driven in a synchronous and mutually independent manner, and that each of the transmission members (135) by way of a rotary movement is permitted to convert an actuation movement of the at least one actuator (13, 13′, 13″, 14) to a translatory movement of in each case one separate switching member (12, 12a) of the switch installation (120). Ignition switch
An ignition switch includes a rotor into which a vehicle key can be inserted, a switch body rotationally accommodating the rotor, and a key interlock mechanism integrally coupled to the switch body. The key interlock mechanism prevents removal of the vehicle key when the vehicle is traveling.
IGNITION LOCK
An ignition lock for a motor vehicle includes a locking cylinder, which in the presence of a suitable key can be shifted along a path including a punctual directional change between a driving position and a stationary position. In the driving position the ignition lock allows operation of an engine of the motor vehicle. In the stationary position operation of the engine is blocked. An indicating device is controlled by a switch operable by the locking cylinder at the point of directional change.

Electrical switch operated by lockable push button actuator, and retrofit method and kit
A simple kit of parts is provided that can be used to replace a few easily removed elements of a lockable push button actuator of a mechanical locking mechanism to convert the push button actuator to a lockable actuator for controlling a switch that can serve as a component of an electrical locking system. Other aspects of the invention relate to a method of making the mechanical to electrical conversion, and to a lockable actuator for operating an electrical switch connected to the actuator.
