DC CIRCUIT BREAKER AND DISCONNECTOR
A circuit breaker/disconnector apparatus for use in a power delivery system comprises a unidirectional DC circuit breaker which has a first terminal and a second terminal and is configured to automatically open during an overcurrent condition in a forward direction and to remain closed independent of current level in a reverse direction. A disconnector switch is in series with the circuit breaker. The disconnector switch has a first terminal for connecting to a first polarity connector of a power supply, a second terminal for connecting to a second polarity connector of the power supply and a common terminal connected to the first terminal of the circuit breaker. The disconnector switch has at least a first position in which the first terminal is connected to the common terminal and a second position in which the second terminal is connected to the common terminal. The second polarity connector of the power supply may be coupled to a track of a transport system and the second polarity connector of the power supply may be coupled to a live overhead cable or live third rail of a transport system. The apparatus can be used to safely ground the live cable or third rail when in a maintenance condition.

Output-switch control system for AC-DC power supply
An output-switch control system for an AC-DC power supply includes a push-button switch that has two triggers. The triggers correspond to different contacts of a detecting circuit, respectively. When the push-button switch is pressed to make the triggers and the contacts turn into a close-circuit state form an open-circuit state, the detecting circuit outputs a power-source-on signal, and when the push-button switch is pressed again, and either of the triggers and the contact turn into the close-circuit state form the open-circuit state, the detecting circuit outputs a power-source-off signal immediately. With the dual-transition signal certification at the contacts, safe output-switch control can be achieved, so as to provide a user with operational safety.
Power strips
A power strip having two or more powers strips daisy chained together where each of the two or more power strips include a sequence control module operable to sequentially activate and/or deactivate the outlets, thereby powering up or powering down each outlet separately across the two or more power strips. A pre-determined time delay, that can be set by a user, occurs between the activation and/or deactivation of the outlets. The sequence control module of each power strip is operatively coupled to the sequence control module of the subsequent next power strip so that one power strip can be used to trigger activation of the next power strip.
Polarity adaptive power source apparatus
Described are devices for automatically adapting electrical polarity from a power source to a specified output polarity for use by an electrical load. In one implementation, power adaptation circuitry comprising one or more bridge circuits accept electrical power of unspecified polarity and output specified polarity. The bridge circuit may comprise a plurality of field-effect transistors (FETs) configured such that a particular subset of the FETs are energized to conduct electric current to the outputs when a particular polarity is applied at inputs.
