Switching device and switching arrangement

A switching device includes: a first and a second fixed contact; a contact bridge; a first movable contact and a second movable contact that are arranged at the contact bridge; a first terminal contact on which the first fixed contact is mounted; and a second terminal contact on which the second fixed contact is mounted. The first fixed contact is in contact with the first movable contact and the second fixed contact is in contact with the second movable contact in a switched-on state of the switching device. The first fixed contact is free of contact with the first movable contact and the second fixed contact is free of contact with the second movable contact in a switched-off state of the switching device. A path of a load current flowing through the contact bridge between the first and second movable contacts in the switched-on state extends in a first plane.

Electromagnetic relay

An electromagnetic relay includes a first movable contact piece, a moving member, a coil, and a movable iron core. The movable iron core is connected to the moving member and is configured to move by a magnetic force generated by the coil. The moving member is made of an electrical insulator. The moving member includes a support portion and a connecting portion. The support portion holds a first movable contact piece. The connecting portion is connected to the movable iron core. The connecting portion includes a locking groove and a locking projection. An end of the movable iron core is disposed in the locking groove. The locking projection presses the end of the movable iron core in the locking groove. The locking projection extends in a support direction perpendicular to a moving direction of the moving member.

Methods, apparatuses and systems for providing a switching component are disclosed herein. An example switching component may comprise: a housing; a moveable carrier a moveable carrier disposed within the housing; at least one integrated moveable contact assembly, the moveable contact assembly comprising a substrate, a set of moveable contacts disposed on a first surface of the substrate and a guiding element surrounding at least a portion of the substrate, wherein at least a portion of the guiding element is configured to abut a surface of the moveable carrier; and a set of stationary contacts adjacent the set of moveable contacts, wherein the set of moveable contacts is configured to move with two degrees of freedom to make contact with the set of stationary contacts in order to actuate an electrical bridge in response to movement of the moveable carrier.

RELAY

A base of a relay has a leg extending in a contact/separation direction between contacts, and the leg is configured to come into contact with a yoke when the base is incorporated into a case. The leg is spaced away from an upper part of an armature by a distance. This distance is determined so that an upper surface of the armature does not come into contact with the leg in a normal operation of the armature, but the upper surface of the armature comes into contact with a lower surface of the leg when the armature jumps up beyond a movable range thereof due to, for example, a strong impact applied to a vehicle on which the relay is mounted.

CONTACTOR

A contactor includes a housing and first and second fixed contacts coupling to the housing having mating ends received in the cavity of the housing and terminating ends outside of the housing. A movable contact is movable within the cavity between a mated position and an unmated position that engages the mating end of the second fixed contact in the mated position and is separated from the second fixed contact in the unmated position. A flexible busbar is coupled to the first mating end and coupled to the movable contact. The flexible busbar electrically connects the first fixed contact and the movable contact in both the mated position and the unmated position. A coil assembly in the cavity operates to move the movable contact between the unmated position and the mating position.

High voltage relay resistant to instantaneous high-current impact

A high voltage relay resistant to instantaneous high-current impact is disclosed, and includes an electromagnet system, a control system, a contact system, and a base support. In the present solution, an electromagnetic force generated by the contact system is used to resolve a problem of contact separation caused by an electric repulsion force generated by an instantaneous high-current.
