The molded case circuit breaker further comprises a cable box cover that protects the cables of the ETU from external harm. The terminal cover including an emboss fixture having emboss guides for alignment and fixing of the cable box cover. The electronic trip unit (ETU) or the thermomagnetic trip unit (TMTU) and the cable box cover are assembled with one or more screws. The cable box cover is prevented from falling after the one or more screws are taken out from the terminal cover regardless of how the circuit breaker is mounted.
SEMICONDUCTOR CIRCUIT BREAKER
The present disclosure relates to a semiconductor circuit breaker and, more specifically, to a semiconductor circuit breaker having a detachable interface module. The semiconductor circuit breaker according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a circuit breaker body connected to a main circuit; and an interface module which is independent from the circuit breaker body, wherein the circuit breaker body comprises: a first reception part disposed on the outer surface of the circuit breaker body; and a blocking part including a power semiconductor device connected to the main circuit to block the main circuit when an overcurrent occurs, and the interface module comprises an operation part for controlling the blocking part, and is detachably coupled to the first reception part.
Circuit breaker housing
A circuit breaker housing for holding a switching device unit and a number of connection contacts for a connection line and/or a busbar. The housing has a first housing part and a second housing part. In the joined, assembled state, the housing parts form a front side and a rear side opposite said front side and at least one connection side and end faces located opposite one another. A holding chamber for a connection module having one of the connection contacts is provided on the front side and/or on at least one of the connection sides.
Self-test mechanisms for end-of-life detection and response for circuit interrupter devices
A circuit for a circuit interrupter is provided. The circuit may in include a first SCR configured to receive a first trigger signal at a gate of the first SCR, a second SCR configured to receive a second trigger signal at a gate of the second SCR, and a third SCR configured to receive a third trigger signal at a gate of the third SCR. A cathode of the first SCR may be connected to an anode of the third SCR. A cathode of the second SCR and a cathode of the third SCR may be connected to a ground. Methods of operating a circuit interrupter and a circuit are also provided.
MOLDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH TERMINAL COVER HAVING EMBOSS GUIDES FOR CABLE BOX COVER ALIGNMENT AND FIXING
A molded case circuit breaker configured to protect its ports and cables is provided. The molded case circuit breaker comprises an electronic trip unit (ETU) including communication ports or a thermomagnetic trip unit (TMTU). The molded case circuit breaker further comprises a terminal cover configured to pass cables that connect to the communication ports of the ETU and pass the cables over lugs without touching the lugs.
Safety apparatus having terminal shield with indication circuit, and circuit interruption apparatus
A safety apparatus is a terminal shield having an indication circuit incorporated therein. The safety apparatus is usable with a circuit interrupter to overlie one or more terminals of the circuit interrupter that are connected with line and load conductors and to thereby form a circuit interrupter apparatus. The safety apparatus can be employed at the line side of a circuit interrupter, at the load side of a circuit interrupter, or at both sides of a circuit interrupter. The safety apparatus can be provided as part of a new circuit interrupter apparatus or can be provided to retrofit existing circuit interrupters. The indication circuit advantageously outputs from a top surface of the terminal shield one of a visual indication and an audible indication when one or more terminals of the circuit interrupter are electrified, thereby easily conveying to a technician the portions of the circuit interrupter that are electrified.
Circuit breaker pole for low voltage or medium voltage operation
A circuit breaker pole for low voltage or medium voltage operation includes: a main body section; a first end section; and a second end section. The first end section is fixedly connectable to a wall of an enclosure. The second end section is fixedly connectable to the wall of the enclosure.
CIRCUIT BREAKER
A circuit breaker with a circuit breaker housing that includes a switch-on button hole and a switch-off button hole, a button mechanism that includes a switch-on button and a switch-off button, the switch-on button including a switch-on button operating end slidably arranged in the said switch-on button hole, the switch-off button including a switch-off button operating end slidably arranged in the switch-off button hole. While the switch-on button operating end is being pressed toward the inside of the circuit breaker housing to enable the circuit breaker to switch on, the switch-off button operating end moves toward the outside of the circuit breaker housing, and while the switch-off button operating end is being pressed toward the inside of the circuit breaker housing to enable the circuit breaker to switch off, the switch-on button operating end moves toward the outside of the circuit breaker housing.
CIRCUIT BREAKERS
A circuit breaker can include a moveable electrical contact configured to be moved between an open position and a closed position, and a lever assembly configured to prevent the progressive closing of the moveable electrical contact to the closed position such that the lever assembly is configured to cause snap action closing of the moveable electrical contact at a charged position of a motorized slider.
Ground fault circuit breaker protector for wrong wiring power-off protection
The present disclosure discloses a ground fault circuit breaker protector for wrong wiring power-off protection, and belongs to the technical field of ground fault circuit breaker protectors. The ground fault circuit breaker protector includes two conductors fixedly mounted inside a shell. One of the conductors is a power input end; and a line output end is electrically connected to a load output end through a transfer relay and forms the other conductor. The ground fault circuit breaker protector further includes a reset mechanism and a movement arm. By means of pressing the RESET push rod, the push rod is locked on the sliding block by the buckle; under the elastic action of the first springs and the second spring, the sliding block pushes the movement arm to contact the line output end and the load output end.
