Systems and methods for a disconnect switch assembly having a reversible fuse support block
A reversible fuse support block includes a molding, a terminal, and a fuser interface. The molding may be installed within a housing in a first position and a second position, wherein the second position is rotated 180 degrees relative to the first position. The terminal couples to the molding and includes a plurality of apertures disposed in a pattern. The fuse interface receives a first end of a fuse. The fuse interface couples to the terminal in a first arrangement and a second arrangement such that when the fuse interface is installed in the first arrangement and the molding is installed in the first position, the fuse interface is disposed in substantially the same position relative to a corresponding fuse interface on a fuse support block as when the fuse interface is installed in the second arrangement and the molding is installed in the second position.
Fuse adapter kit for a fuse of a switch-fuse module
A fuse adapter kit for a fuse of a switch-fuse module and a switch-fuse module. The fuse adapter kit includes: a fuse canister having an axially elongated fuse receiving portion adapted to receive the fuse; and at least one terminal having i) an axial fuse receiving opening for receiving an axial end portion of the fuse, ii) a lateral protrusion forming a mechanical male connector, and iii) an electrical terminal connector laterally arranged within the mechanical male connector for electrically connecting the fuse to an electrical canister connector; wherein the fuse canister has a fuse mounting wall portion extending axially along a back side of the fuse receiving portion, the fuse mounting wall portion having at least three fuse mounting openings at different axial positions along the fuse mounting wall portion, each of the fuse mounting openings forming a mechanical female connector matching the mechanical male connector of the terminal to form a mechanical plug connection, and wherein the fuse canister further includes the electrical canister connector arranged at at least one of the fuse mounting openings for electrically connecting to the electrical terminal connector.
Three phase surge protection device
A three phase surge protection device is disclosed. In an embodiment a device include a stack comprising a first varistor, a second varistor and a third varistor, wherein the varistors are electrically connected to form a circuit and a first thermal disconnect configured to interrupt the circuit when a temperature of the first thermal disconnect exceeds a predefined temperature.
Fuse, fuse box, and fuse device
Disclosed are a fuse, a fuse box, and a fuse device capable of preventing insertion of wrong products into the box or device and persistent electric arc. In certain aspects, the fuse includes a pair of electro-conductive terminals, a fuse element having a fusion portion provided between the electro-conductive terminals, and an insulating housing mounted so as to cover at least a part of the fusion portion and the electro-conductive terminals, wherein a notch is provided on a lower-end side of the insulating housing, the notch is located between the pair of electro-conductive terminals and at a position that does not interfere with the shape of the fusion portion provided between the pair of electro-conductive terminals, and the notch is formed in a manner that a protrusion provided in a fuse box for housing the fuse can be fitted therein.
IN-LINE FUSEHOLDER QUICK CONNECTION
An in-line fuseholder quick connection device is disclosed. In addition to allowing easy insertion of a fuse cartridge, the in-line fuseholder quick connection device includes easy wire connection using spring clamps, enabling the customer to avoid wire terminal crimping processes.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUSES FOR TRANSFERRING POWER AND ANALYSIS
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for transferring power. A power transfer device may be configured to securely fit in a fuse block, fuse holder, and/or the like. The power transfer device may transfer power from a source to a load connected to the fuse block, fuse holder, and/or the like, while also isolating the power to prevent the power from backfeeding to the source. The power transfer device may be used to perform testing, measurements, and/or analysis (e.g., voltage measurements, power measurements, frequency analysis, system impedance testing, etc.).
FUSE SEATS FOR ENCLOSED FUSES
An enclosure that houses one or more fuses includes one or more fuse positioning structures. A fuse housing in the enclosure holds the one or more fuses. Each fuse positioning structure includes one or more fuse seats. Each fuse seat is configured to contact and apply pressure to a respective fuse in the fuse housing. The fuse positioning structure(s) cause one or both terminals of each fuse to be seated in a respective fuse clip or clips.
