FUSE
20230005693 · 2023-01-05 ·

The present application invention provides a fuse capable of saving space inside a casing even when the casing includes a plurality of fusion parts arranged side by side. A fuse includes: a fuse element including a fusion part provided between a pair of terminal portions; and a casing configured to house a part of the fuse element while causing the terminal portions to protrude outward. Two or more of the fusion parts are arranged in a lateral direction X orthogonal to a terminal portion direction Y connecting the terminal portions and connected to the terminal portions. The casing includes two casing split pieces configured to house the fuse element to sandwich the fuse element. The respective casing split pieces are fixed to each other by a frame-shaped fixing member configured to make one round of a periphery of the respective casing split pieces. A housing space N1 of the casing has a maximum width L1 in the vertical direction Z narrower than a maximum width L2 in the lateral direction X.

HIGH VOLTAGE POWER DISTRIBUTOR

A high voltage power distributor comprises an insulated high voltage power cable, a fuse mechanically connected to a fuse holder and a busbar that is electrically connected between the cable and the fuse. The fuse, the fuse holder, the busbar and the cable are accommodated in a housing.

MODULAR FUSE HOLDER AND ARRANGEMENT AND CONNECTION THEREOF

A fuse holder includes a holder base comprising a plurality of protrusions each having a mounting hole formed therein to provide for mounting of the holder base to an external component and one or more mating protrusions and one or more mating slots formed on each of opposing side surfaces. The fuse holder also includes an input stud coupled to or formed on the holder base and a cover configured to attach to the holder base to at least partially enclose one or more fuses positionable on the fuse holder. The one or more mating protrusions and the one or more mating slots formed on each of the opposing side surfaces of the holder base comprise dovetailed protrusions and slots of a matching profile capable of receiving such a dovetailed protrusion, so as to enable a side-by-side stacking and interlocking of fuse holders with such mating protrusions and mating slots.

Connector and connector assembly

A connector configured to be fitted with a mating connector includes a main housing, a sub-housing supported on the main housing to be slidable in a fitting direction with respect to the main housing in which the connector is fitted with the mating connector, and an operating member pivotably and slidably supported on the main housing. The main housing moves closer to the mating connector when the operating member is pivoted from a first posture to a second posture. The sub-housing moves in the fitting direction when the operating member slides from the second posture in a direction different from the fitting direction. The sub-housing has an erroneous fitting prevention part abutting against the mating connector in a state of incomplete fitting of the connector with the mating connector.

DEVICE FOR PROTECTION AGAINST TRANSITORY OVERVOLTAGES
20170330719 · 2017-11-16 ·

The invention concerns a device for protection against transitory overvoltages, comprising: a varistor; a discharge tube; a thermofusible soldering securing a first electrode of the discharge tube and a first electrode of the varistor, the thermofusible soldering being a conductor of electricity and being able to melt beyond a temperature threshold when the varistor or the discharge tube heats up; the second electrode of the varistor being designed to be connected to a first electrical line and the second electrode of the discharge tube being designed to be connected to a second electrical line; a restoring element exerting a restoring force tending to move the first electrode of the varistor away from the first electrode of the discharge tube in order to allow a separation between the first electrode of the varistor and the first electrode of the discharge tube during a melting of the thermofusible soldering.

A fusible link having a high-rated terminal group and a low-rated fuse box are provided. The low-rated fuse box has a power-source-side terminal connected to an auxiliary terminal of the fusible link, a load-side connection terminal to be connected to a load side, a holder configured to hold the power-source-side terminal and the load-side connection terminals, and a low-current fuse configured to electrically connect, when attached to the holder in a detachable manner, the power-source-side terminal and the load-side connection terminals to each other.

FUSIBLE SWITCH DISCONNECT DEVICE FOR DC ELECTRICAL POWER SYSTEM

A fusible disconnect switch devices includes dual sets of switch contacts to connect or disconnect a current path through an overcurrent protection fuse with reduced arcing severity. Faster acting and longer contact path switch mechanisms are described providing satisfactory switching of DC circuits without excessive electrical arcing in a reduced physical package size.

Sealed fuse holder

The invention relates to a fuse holder comprising two housing elements which, once assembled, together form a tube in which a fuse is accommodated. The first housing element includes a base extending longitudinally along the direction of assembly of the two housing elements with each other. A seal is placed on the base mainly in a plane perpendicular to the direction of assembly. During assembly, the second housing element is brought to at least partially cover the base to sandwich the seal between the two housing elements. A rim extends around the base in the direction of assembly in order to protect the seal until the two housing elements are assembled together.

Fuse holder and fuse interruption mechanism

It is aimed to provide a fuse holder with a novel structure capable of improving insertion operability in the fuse holder for holding a plurality of fuses. A plurality of fuse holding portions (26a, 26b) are provided into which main body portions (16, 16) of fuses (12a, 12b) are to be mounted and in which lead portions (14, 14) of the fuses (12a, 12b) are held in a projecting state. Holding positions of the fuses (12a, 12b) by the plurality of fuse holding portions (26a, 26b) are made different from each other in a projecting direction of the lead portions (14) from the main body portions (16) in the fuses (12a, 12b).

Fuse holder

The invention relates to a fuse holder comprising two housing elements which, once assembled, together form a tube in which a support for a fuse is accommodated. Each of the two housing elements comprises a contact for establishing an electrical contact with a terminal of a fuse housed in the support, when the support is installed between the assembled housing elements. The support may comprise means to ensure the correct position of each contact in its respective housing element. The support may also comprise means to ensure the correct orientation of the fuse in the support. The support may also comprise means for retaining a seal ensuring sealing between the two housing elements.
