Fuse holder and associated method

A holder for receiving fuses is provided. The holder includes a housing and a fuse shuttle. The fuse shuttle is slidably cooperable with the housing in a first portion of the housing and pivotally cooperable with the housing in a second portion of the housing. The fuse shuttle and the housing define a fuse loading position and a fuse operational position.

A plug-in connector cooperating with a terminal block includes a body having a cooperation assembly mechanically securing the plug-in connector on the terminal block, the body having a compartment accommodating a fuse element, a pair of plug contacts received within the compartment, and a handle part having an actuating portion and a linking portion. The plug contacts are each connected to a terminal of the fuse element. Each of the plug contacts has a contact tongue extending outside of the compartment, the contact tongue electrically secured to a bus bar of the terminal block. The linking portion is attached to the body and extends along a linking axis parallel to an insertion axis of a pin of the cooperation assembly. The actuating portion has an actuating surface extending transversely to the insertion axis and cooperating with a marking element disposed along the actuating surface.

Provided is a novel dark-current-circuit interruption structure that can stably maintain the state of engagement of an engaging portion of a conductive component holder with an engaged portion of a case, while reducing the size of the case, and an electrical junction box including the same. A conductive component is formed by a plate metal fitting, a conductive component holder 48 includes elastic projecting pieces and engaging portions that are provided on each of a pair of side walls that are opposingly positioned with a gap between the plate metal fitting and each of the side walls, and the case includes engaged portions with which the engaging portions are to be engaged. When attaching the conductive component holder to the case, the engaging portions and the engaged portions are configured to come into contact with each other to cause the elastic projecting pieces 68 and 76 to elastically deform.

A fuse mounting structure and a batter system are provided according to the present application, the fuse mounting structure is used for mounting a fuse to a battery box, and includes a drawer and a fuse base; where the fuse base is mounted in the battery box, and the drawer is used for mounting the fuse; the drawer is provided with a guide device in a sliding fit with the fuse base, so as to guide the drawer to be inserted into the fuse base. According to the fuse mounting structure, the guide device is arranged on the drawer, the guide device guides the drawer with fuse when the drawer enters the fuse base, there is no need to align the plug-in holes, which realizes blind insertion of fuses and reduces the workload of fuse insertion.

As the movable fuse holder is moved from the first position toward the second position, the cam member cooperates with the first fuse contact to move the first fuse contact from a less-stressed first position to a more-stressed second position to allow the respective fuse of the one or more fuses to be inserted into the housing without engaging the first fuse contact.

A fuse protector with a plurality of fuses comprises a fuse protector base, a fuse carrier, and fuse elements. The fuse elements are disposed on the fuse carrier, and the fuse carrier is inserted in the fuse protector base. One side of the fuse protector base is provided with at least two wiring assemblies, and the other side of the fuse protector base is provided with at least two wiring assemblies. The fuse protector base is further provided with base contacts corresponding to the wiring assemblies. The fuse carrier is inserted into the fuse protector base. When the fuse carrier is pulled out of the fuse protector base, at least four breaking points are formed at the same time, and the voltage of an arc is distributed to the four contact points. Therefore, the voltage of the arc is effectively reduced, space is saved.
