BASE FOR A RETROFIT REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE
A remote control device may control electrical loads and/or load control devices of a load control system without accessing electrical wiring. The remote control device may include a control unit and a base that may be configured to be mounted over a paddle actuator of an installed mechanical switch. The base may include a frame, a biasing member, and/or a ribbon portion. The frame may be configured to secure the remote control device thereto. The frame may define a rear surface that is configured to abut a bezel of the mechanical switch. The biasing member may be configured to engage a rear surface of a faceplate of the mechanical switch. The ribbon portion may be configured to attach the biasing member to the frame. The ribbon portion may be configured to extend through a gap between the bezel and the faceplate.
WIRELESS BATTERY-POWERED SWITCH
An apparatus for a wireless switch. In some embodiments, the wireless switch includes an input device, a radio, a memory, and an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to place a mode selection indicator in an asserted state in response to a first manipulation of the input device, and to operate the wireless switch in a wireless mesh network communication mode in response to the mode selection indicator being placed in the asserted state.
Molded case circuit breaker with current sensing unit
A circuit breaker, and method of assembling the circuit breaker, includes a circuit breaker housing defining an interior portion, and which includes a molded base and a separable cover. The molded base includes an interior surface and an exterior surface. The exterior surface of the molded base is operatively disposed outside of the interior portion of the circuit breaker housing, and the exterior surface of the base defines at least one current sensing unit receiving cavity configured to receive a current sensing unit therein. The molded base and separable cover are cooperatively disposed to surround the interior portion of the circuit breaker housing.
Safety switching apparatus with switching element in the auxiliary contact current path
A safety switching apparatus for switching on or off a technical installation has a failsafe control/evaluation unit with an input for receiving an input signal. The failsafe control/evaluation unit is designed to process the input signal in order to produce an output signal for switching on or off the technical installation at a defined output signal time. The failsafe control/evaluation unit has a first output for transmitting the output signal to an electromechanical switch. The electromechanical switch has an operating contact for switching a load circuit of the technical installation and has a positively guided auxiliary contact in an auxiliary contact current path. The auxiliary contact can be used to carry a current for checking the switching position of the operating contact. A switching element is arranged in the auxiliary contact current path. The failsafe control/evaluation unit is designed to produce a switching signal at a defined switching signal time which has a time gap relative to the output signal time. The failsafe control/evaluation unit has a second output for transmitting the switching signal to the switching element in order to selectively allow or disallow the current through the auxiliary contact current path.
HYBRID MCCB EMPLOYING ELECTROMECHANICAL CONTACTS AND POWER ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A hybrid switch assembly for a circuit breaker assembly is provided. The circuit breaker assembly includes a housing assembly and an operating mechanism. The housing assembly defines a power electronic switch assembly cavity. A hybrid switch assembly includes a number of conductor assemblies, each conductor assembly including a movable conductor, and a stationary conductor. Further, each movable conductor is structured to move between an open, first position, wherein each movable conductor is spaced from and not in electrical communication with an associated stationary conductor, and a closed, second position, wherein each movable conductor is coupled to and in electrical communication with an associated stationary conductor. A number of the conductor assemblies further include a power electronic switch assembly. Each power electronic switch assembly includes an isolation contact assembly. Each isolation contact assembly is selectively coupled to, and in electronic communication with, the stationary conductor and the movable conductor.
CIRCUIT BREAKER AND METHOD FOR OPERATION THEREOF
A circuit breaker having, in a current path, a switching device having a thermal and/or magnetic tripping device for interruption of a current circuit having the current path comprehensive in an event of overcurrent or short-circuit, wherein a functional component of the switching device connected into the current path is bridged by means of a bypass which carries the load current detected by means of a current sensor when the current is below a current threshold, and is shut off when the current threshold is exceeded.
Sterile field interactive control displays
An interactive control unit is disclosed. The interactive control unit includes an interactive touchscreen display, an interface configured to couple the control unit to a surgical hub, a processor, and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive input commands from the interactive touchscreen display located inside a sterile field and transmit the input commands to the surgical hub to control devices coupled to the surgical hub located outside the sterile field.
