Electronically controlled fusible switching disconnect modules and devices

A fusible switch disconnect device includes a housing adapted to receive at least one fuse therein, and a switchable contact for connecting the fuse to circuitry. A tripping mechanism and control circuitry are provided to move the switchable contact to an open position in response to a predetermined electrical condition.

Cam selector for an earthing switch

An operating modes selector is for an earthing switch that includes power contacts and a motor for moving the power contacts. The selector includes a plurality of positions corresponding respectively to various operating modes of the earthing switch, and includes cams whose positions are defined by the selector position. The selector contains a first cam which pulls a first locking organ designed to mechanically block the motor of the earthing switch when the selector is in a position corresponding to a locked closed mode wherein the earthing switch is closed.

Wall switch lockout

A wall switch lockout device for selectively limiting access to a wall switch relative to which the wall switch lockout device is mounted. The wall switch lockout device includes a mountable base having a switch opening extending therethrough for receiving the wall switch, a cover positionable and securable over a front face of the mountable base for selectively covering and limiting access to the switch opening, and one or more inserts received in the mountable base and slidable relative thereto. The wall switch lockout device further has a pair of mounting openings for mounting the mountable base and at least one of the pair of mounting openings is on the one or more inserts such that, when the one or more inserts are slid relative to the mountable base, a hole-to-hole distance between the pair of mounting openings is variably adjusted.

MECHANICAL LOCKOUT FOR SOLID-STATE SWITCH

A non-mechanical-interfacing electronic switch or a mechanical-interfacing electronic switch are controlled to modulate between an active state and an inactive state based on electronic action. The switch includes an aperture defining an opening in a housing, and the opening defines an insertion path. A transmitter transmits a signal to a receiver along a signal path. To control the non-mechanical-interfacing electronic switch, a mechanical lockout device having a protrusion is inserted through the opening of the aperture along the insertion path. To control the mechanical-interfacing electronic switch, a mechanical control part have a protrusion is moveable to interrupt the signal. Methods of locking the non-mechanical-interfacing electronic switch with the mechanical lockout device as well as methods of locking the mechanical control part of the mechanical interfacing electronic switch with the mechanical lockout device are also provided.

Locking Arrangement for a Plurality of Toggle Switches

The present disclosure relates to a locking arrangement for a plurality of toggle switches. The locking arrangement facilitates independent locking and independent actuation of the toggle switches. The locking arrangement restricts the movement of a lever associated with a toggle switch of the plurality of toggle switches so as to maintain the lever of the toggle switch in at least one predetermined position. The locking arrangement is adapted to receive a locking device. The locking device restricts the movement of the lever in at least one predetermined position defined by the periphery of a locking plate or a base plate of the locking arrangement.

Operator for an electrical switching apparatus

An operator for an electrical switching apparatus includes an actuator configured to be grasped by a user. A linkage is attached to the actuator at a first end of the linkage and configured for extending through an enclosure housing the electrical switching apparatus. An engagement assembly is attached to the linkage at a second end of the linkage such that when the operator is mounted to the enclosure movement of the actuator outside of the enclosure causes movement of the engagement assembly inside the enclosure. The engagement assembly includes an extension arm attached to the linkage and an attachment member attached to the extension arm. The attachment member is configured to engage a toggle of the electrical switching apparatus in the enclosure to move the toggle between at least two positions.

A lockout device is presented to maintain an on/off switch lever of a disconnect box in a preferred position. A grasp portion of the lockout device that is in an unlocked position may be inserted in the on/off switch lever of the disconnect outlet box preventing the on/off switch lever from being moved from an off position to an on position, or vise versa. Once the grasp hook is inserted in the on/off switch lever, the lockout device can be moved to a locked position and secured with one or more padlocks to prevent the lockout device from being removed. A middle portion of the lockout device may be made of varying lengths to allow easy access to on/off switch levers of disconnect boxes located overhead, below the user's feet or in confined spaces without the requirement for ladders or other special access equipment.
