X-ray imaging system

Provided is an X-ray imaging system capable of performing X-ray imaging quickly. The X-ray imaging system is provided with: an X-ray tube device including a cathode and an anode, the X-ray tube device being capable of performing X-ray imaging by irradiating an imaging target with X-rays in a state of rotating the anode; a light irradiation device including a collimator defining an X-ray irradiation range of the X-rays with respect to the imaging target, a visible light irradiation unit for emitting visible light to the imaging target and a light irradiation operation unit for performing an operation for making the visible light irradiation unit in the light irradiation state; and a controller for controlling operations of the X-ray tube device and the light irradiation device. The controller rotates the anode at an imaging possible rotation speed capable of performing X-ray imaging when the light irradiation operation unit is operated.

The X-ray imaging apparatus includes: a main power supply operation unit for switching ON/OFF of power supply to the X-ray imaging apparatus; a braking unit for decelerating a rotation speed of the anode to a predetermined braking speed lower than a resonance range which is a rotation speed of the anode at which resonance occurs in the X-ray tube; and a non-braking stop prediction unit configured to detect a predetermined situation in which a non-braking stop state is predicted, the non-braking stop state being a state in which the main power supply operation unit is operated to be turned to an OFF state without decelerating the rotating anode by the braking unit. The non-braking stop prediction unit activates the braking unit by detecting the predetermined situation to decrease the rotation speed of the anode to the braking speed.

X-ray generation device and X-ray analysis apparatus

An X-ray generation device includes: a sealed X-ray tube including a cathode and an anode; a magnetic field generation portion applying a magnetic field to the electron beam, the magnetic field extending in a first direction, which crosses a traveling direction of the electron beam; and a rotary drive system configured to rotate the sealed X-ray tube, the anode having a surface including a first region and a second region arranged on one side and another side, with respect to a straight division line, the first region having a first metal arranged therein, and the second region having a second metal arranged therein, the second metal being different from the first metal, and by means of the rotary drive system rotating the sealed X-ray tube, the sealed X-ray tube being arranged with respect to the magnetic field generation portion so that the straight division line lies along the first direction.

ROTATING X-RAY ANODE

A rotating X-ray anode for generating X-radiation has an annular main body made of carbon-based material, an annular focal track covering, which is arranged on a focal track side of the main body, and a metal connection component, which is arranged radially inside relative to the main body. A radially outer portion of the connection component is formed by a tubular metal adapter. The radial outside surface of the adapter is at least partly joined, face to face and integrally, to at least a portion of the radial inside surface of the main body. An integral joining zone between the main body and the adapter extends over at least 75 percent of the area of the radial inside surface of the main body.

Rotary anode arrangement and X-ray tube

The embodiments relate to a rotary anode arrangement with a rotary anode, a rotor for driving the rotary anode and a stator, which exerts a torque on the rotor. The stator includes at least one coil for generating a first magnetic field and at least one permanent magnet for generating a second magnetic field. The embodiments also relate to an X-ray tube with the rotary anode arrangement. The embodiments offer the advantage that a high electromagnetic utilization is possible with a synchronous motor that is excited by permanent magnets.

An X-ray diagnostic apparatus comprises an X-ray tube and processing circuitry. The X-ray tube includes a rotary anode. The processing circuitry is configured to derive an acquiring condition from a fluoroscopic image, and start to increase, in accordance with the acquiring condition derived, a rotating speed of the anode from a low rotating speed to a high rotating speed before the X-ray tube finishes emitting an X-ray to acquire the fluoroscopic image.

Disclosed herein is an x-ray backscatter apparatus (“apparatus”) for non-destructive inspection of an object. The apparatus includes an x-ray emitter that includes a vacuum tube, an x-ray shield enclosed within the vacuum tube. The x-ray shield includes at least one emission aperture. The apparatus also includes a cathode enclosed within the vacuum tube and that is operable to generate an electron stream. Also included is an anode, enclosed within the vacuum tube and located relative to the cathode, to receive the electron stream and convert the electron stream from the cathode to an x-ray stream, and located relative to the emission aperture to direct at least a portion of the x-ray stream through the at least one emission aperture. Also disclosed are a system and a method that utilize the apparatus.

An X-ray radiator and an X-ray assembly are disclosed. The X-ray radiator according to an embodiment has an evacuated X-ray tube housing, mounted to be rotatable about a rotation axis, the X-ray tube housing including an anode and an electron source. The anode is arranged within the X-ray tube housing non-rotatably relative to the X-ray tube housing and is configured to generate X-ray radiation via electrons impacting upon a focal spot of the anode, the electron source being mounted substantially stationary within the X-ray tube housing relative to the rotation axis. The electron source has a main emitter and at least one subsidiary emitter for emitting electrons. The electron emission of the main emitter and/or of the at least one subsidiary emitter is controllable such that a spatial movement of the focal spot due to a movement of the electron source is reduced.

X-RAY TUBE

An X-ray tube according to an embodiment of the inventive concept includes a cathode structure; an anode structure spaced vertically from the cathode structure, a gate electrode structure disposed between the cathode structure and the anode structure, an emitter array disposed between the cathode structure and the gate electrode structure, a tube sheath configured to connect the cathode structure and the anode structure, and a fixing unit connected with the gate electrode structure. The cathode structure includes a first rotation shaft and a cathode connected with the first rotation shaft as one body. The gate electrode structure includes a second rotation shaft and a gate electrode connected with the second rotation shaft through a bearing, and the second rotation shaft is connected with the first rotation shaft by a coupling unit. The gate electrode includes a gate electrode substrate and a protruding part that protrudes from the gate electrode substrate toward an emitter. The protruding part of the gate electrode includes a gate hole that vertically overlaps the emitter. The fixing unit includes a ferromagnetic structure attached to one surface of the gate electrode substrate and disposed on an outer portion of the substrate and a permanent magnet disposed adjacent to the ferromagnetic structure with the tube sheath therebetween.
