Light Bulb Removal Assembly
A light bulb removal assembly includes a handle that may be manipulated thereby facilitating the handle to be directed toward a light bulb. A neck is coupled to the handle.
The neck is comprised of a bendable material. Thus, the neck is positionable at a selected angle with respect to the handle. A cup is coupled to the neck and the cup frictionally engages the light bulb when the handle is directed toward the light bulb. The cup rotates when the handle is manipulated. Thus, the cup removes the light bulb from a socket.
Light bulb changing device
A light bulb changing device with expandable fingers is extendable to allow a person to install and remove light bulbs from an elevated ceiling without need for climbing a ladder. The device includes a tube, with the fingers attached thereto. A horn is slidably disposed on the top, movement of the horn adjusts the movement of the fingers. A compression spring and pulley housing with pulleys therein actuate movement of a tension member allowing for opening of the fingers and closing the fingers around a light bulb with limited torque to avoid breaking the light bulb.
Light Bulb Changing Device
A light bulb changing device with expandable fingers which can grasp all light bulbs within a size range between 1 inch and 6 inches diameter and all shapes of light bulbs including incandescent, compact fluorescent and LED having a screw thread base. The disclosed device is extendable to allow a person to install and remove light bulbs from an elevated ceiling without need for climbing a ladder. The device provides for a user to controllably expand the fingers to insert or remove a bulb at both the proximal (bottom)and distal (Ceiling) ends of the device so that a user can reach up to the ceiling, open the fingers to grasp the bulb using the proximal actuation, remove it, bring it down to reachable level, remove the used bulb using the distal actuation, insert a new bulb using the distal actuation, elevate the bulb to the ceiling screw it into the socket and using the proximal actuation open the fingers to complete the job. The disclosed device controls the torque with which the fingers grasp the bulb to prevent separation of the glass bulb from the metal base.
Light bulb holder
A light bulb holder including a bulb retaining body for holding a light bulb during installation of the bulb in a light fixture. The bulb retaining body generally includes an attachment member for removably or permanently affixing said retaining body to a ladder and at least one retaining slot unit supported on said attachment member including a base and opposed resilient fingers defining an opening for receiving a light bulb.
BULB CHANGER
A bulb changer according to the present invention is advantageous in that when a bulb having glass tubes with gaps therebetween is replaced, protrusions of a bulb insertion portion is inserted into the gaps of the bulb, such that the bulb is integrally fixed to the bulb insertion portion and then separated by being rotated, and as a result, it is possible to prevent withdrawal or swaying of the bulb when replacing the bulb. Therefore, a bulb positioned at a high place such as a ceiling may be advantageously replaced more easily and conveniently.
