An E26 plastic lampholder is composed of a housing, a plastic bracket, a plastic threaded ring, a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate and installed to a downlight. The lampholder has two wire plug slots for plugging two electrodes of a power line by a bare line section, so that a power source is introduced with a convenient operation. The plastic bracket and the housing of the E26 plastic lampholder are made of a plastic material, and a combining groove is reserved on the housing 1 and provided for installing and positioning the plastic bracket, or the housing and the plastic bracket are integrally formed for a more convenient assembling operation. In the meantime, the plastic threaded ring of the E26 plastic lampholder is integrally formed in the housing, so as to facilitate the manufacturing and assembling processes.

A lamp socket includes a first socket portion, a second socket portion, and a neck portion joining the first and the second socket portions. The first socket portion defines a first cylindrical volume proximate to an open end of the lamp socket. The second socket portion is concentric with the first socket portion and defines a second cylindrical volume distal from the open end of the lamp socket. The second socket portion has a smaller diameter than the first socket portion.

A lamp socket includes a first socket portion, a second socket portion, and a neck portion joining the first and the second socket portions. The first socket portion defines a first cylindrical volume proximate to an open end of the lamp socket. The second socket portion is concentric with the first socket portion and defines a second cylindrical volume distal from the open end of the lamp socket. The second socket portion has a smaller diameter than the first socket portion.

A theftproof lamp (100), including a lamp body (110) and a lamp cap (120). A spring member (140) and a ratchet wheel mechanism (130) are provided inside the lamp for cooperating with each other and enabling theftproof effect. When turning the lamp clockwise, the lamp can be screwed down to a lamp socket. When turning the lamp counter-clockwise, the lamp can only make repetitive circular motions around the ratchet wheel and therefore achieve the theftproof effect. When a user needs to remove the lamp in a safe way, a bolt (170) can be moved inwardly to block the spring member from moving upward, so that the lamp body, ratchet wheel and lamp cap form a whole, without any movement in relation to each other, and therefore allowing easy removal of the lamp.

A lamp (10) is formed of a lamp capsule (1) sealed with a press seal (2) penetrated by electrical lead-ins (12), the lamp (1) being received in an insulating base (16) that has external electrical pins (18). Power leads (20) interconnect respective capsule lead-ins (12) and base pins (18). Power leads (20) are formed of stranded wire having a plurality of intertwined strands.

A lamp (10) is formed of a lamp capsule (1) sealed with a press seal (2) penetrated by electrical lead-ins (12), the lamp (1) being received in an insulating base (16) that has external electrical pins (18). Power leads (20) interconnect respective capsule lead-ins (12) and base pins (18). Power leads (20) are formed of stranded wire having a plurality of intertwined strands.

A lamp has a mechanism for allowing rotational slippage between a lamp body and an electrical connector when an applied torque is too large. This prevents damage during rotational coupling of the lamp, via the electrical connector, to a socket.

A lamp includes a base, a light-permeable bulb containing at least one light source, and a driver for powering the light source. The driver is located within the base. The bulb has outwardly leading supply lines on the base side, and the driver has at least one contact element which projects in the direction of the bulb into which a free-standing section of the respective supply line is inserted to make contact. The technology is particularly applicable to lamps with LEDs as light sources, in particular for replacement of conventional lamps such as incandescent lamps.

The invention is in particular applicable to lamps with LEDs as light sources, in particular for replacement of conventional lamps such as incandescent lamps.
