SECONDARY BATTERY AND CYLINDRICAL LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY
A secondary battery or a cylindrical lithium secondary battery is generally described. An exemplary lithium secondary battery module includes: an electrode assembly; a first current collector plate; and a second current collector plate. The electrode assembly is formed by winding an anode plate having a first uncoated region formed on one side, a cathode plate having a second uncoated region formed on the other side, and a separator disposed between the anode plate and the cathode plate. The first current collector plate is electrically connected to the first uncoated region through direct contact therewith, and the second current collector plate is electrically connected to the second uncoated region through direct contact therewith. The second uncoated region of the cathode plate and the first uncoated region of the anode plate are formed of the same metal material.
Method of fabricating and method of using porous wafer battery
A method of fabricating a porous wafer battery comprises the steps of providing a silicon wafer comprising a plurality of pores; applying a first metallization process; applying a passivation process; applying solder balls, aligning the silicon wafer with a substance, and applying a solder reflow process. A method using a porous wafer battery comprises the steps of connecting the porous wafer battery to a plurality of sensors, a plurality of switches, and a battery management system; monitoring temperature, resistance, or current; and electrically disconnecting a non-properly functioning pore.
BATTERY
A battery includes a first electrode layer; and another electrode layer disposed on the first electrode layer and serving as a counter electrode for the first electrode layer. The first electrode layer includes a first current collector, a first active material layer, and a first solid electrolyte layer. The first active material layer is disposed to be in contact with the first current collector and to occupy a smaller area than the first current collector. The first solid electrolyte layer is disposed to be in contact with the first current collector and the first active material layer and to occupy the same area as the first current collector. The first electrode layer includes a peripheral portion including a first rounded portion, and the another electrode layer includes a peripheral portion including another rounded portion.
Cylindrical battery
A cylindrical battery with an opening sealing body that seals an opening of a battery can. The opening sealing body includes a valve member, a metal plate disposed on an inner side of the battery with respect to the valve member, and an annular insulating member interposed between the valve member and the metal plate. The valve member and the metal plate are connected to each other at respective central portions. The valve member has an annular thin-walled portion which is deformable when an internal pressure of the battery increases. The metal plate and the insulating member have respective holes which communicate with each other. The insulating member has a section that covers a surface, on the valve member side, of the metal plate, and a section that is provided subsequent to the section and covers a lateral surface of the hole of the metal plate.
Manufacturing Method Of Battery Cell And Pouch Forming Apparatus
A method of manufacturing a pouch type battery cell according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes forming an embossing part in a part of a pouch film by using an embossing punch part. A pouch forming apparatus for forming a receiving part of the pouch film includes an embossing punch part, a die part serving as a passage through which the punch part moves, and a blank holder in contact with the embossing punch part in the die part.
Battery
A battery includes a first electrode layer; and a second electrode layer disposed on the first electrode layer and serving as a counter electrode for the first electrode layer, wherein the first electrode layer includes a first current collector, a first active material layer, and a first solid electrolyte layer, the first active material layer is disposed to be in contact with the first current collector and to occupy a smaller area than the first current collector, the first solid electrolyte layer is disposed to be in contact with the first current collector and the first active material layer and to occupy the same area as the first current collector, the first active material layer faces the second electrode layer with the first solid electrolyte layer therebetween, and the first electrode layer includes a peripheral portion including a first rounded portion.
Laminate-type battery production method
A method produces a laminate-type battery which can suppress short-circuiting even when a positioning guide is used. The method for producing a laminate-type battery having a first current collector layer, a first active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer or a separator layer, a second active material layer, and a second current collector layer laminated in this order, the method includes arranging a first layer along a first contact surface of a positioning guide, rotating the positioning guide, and thereafter arranging a second layer on the arranged first layer along a second contact surface of the positioning guide. The first layer and the second layer are different from each other and include an arbitrary layer selected from the first current collector layer, the first active material layer, the solid electrolyte layer or the separator layer, the second active material layer, and the second current collector layer.
