The disclosure relates to a rechargeable battery pack for a hand-held power tool, having an interface for establishing an electrical connection of the rechargeable battery pack to a hand-held power tool and/or a charging device. The interface has contact elements for electrically contacting corresponding mating contact elements on the hand-held power tool and/or on the charging device. One contact element is a signal contact element which is electrically connected to an encoder element of the rechargeable battery pack. A rechargeable battery pack electronics is configured to provide information relating to the rechargeable battery pack via the signal contact element, said information relating to the rechargeable battery pack being stored, at least in part, in the at least one encoder element, wherein in the rechargeable battery pack electronics, the encoder element is connected, in an electric parallel circuit, in parallel with a dynamic current path.

The tool body includes a tool attachment part to which a tool is to be attached and a driver configured to drive the tool. The battery pack includes an electricity accumulator, a battery case, and a cushioning structure. The electricity accumulator includes an all-solid-state battery. The electricity accumulator is configured to accumulate electric power to be supplied to the driver. The battery case houses the electricity accumulator. The cushioning structure is configured to suppress acceleration acting on the electricity accumulator from being changed.

A power regulation unit is provided for regulating power to or from a power tool battery pack. The power regulation unit includes power regulation circuitry and a controller. The power regulation circuitry is configured to regulate a received power. The controller is connected to the power regulation circuitry. The controller is configured to receive input power from one or more battery cells, regulate the input power by performing at least one of a voltage regulation and a current regulation, and output a regulated output power. For voltage regulation, the regulated output power includes a constant voltage regardless of an operating current of the power tool. For current regulation, the regulated output power includes a constant voltage up to a predetermined current threshold.

A power regulation unit is provided for regulating power to or from a power tool battery pack. The power regulation unit includes power regulation circuitry and a controller. The power regulation circuitry is configured to regulate a received power. The controller is connected to the power regulation circuitry. The controller is configured to receive input power from one or more battery cells, regulate the input power by performing at least one of a voltage regulation and a current regulation, and output a regulated output power. For voltage regulation, the regulated output power includes a constant voltage regardless of an operating current of the power tool. For current regulation, the regulated output power includes a constant voltage up to a predetermined current threshold.

The server is configured to compare receivable power, which is the renewable power capable of being received by the charging device, with a threshold value and configured to transmit transmission information for causing the charging device to control the charging of the battery to the charging device on the basis of a result of comparing the receivable power with the threshold value.
