The battery rack includes a plurality of battery packs vertically arranged, each battery pack including a plurality of secondary batteries stacked in a direction, and a pack housing having an internal space to receive the plurality of secondary batteries and configured to be supplied with a fire extinguishing liquid when an internal temperature equals or rises above a predetermined temperature, and a rack case having a receiving space to receive the plurality of battery packs, and including a plurality of rack plates, each having a mounting surface on which the battery pack is mounted, the mounting surface sloping at a predetermined angle with declining height as it goes in any one direction, and an extension portion having an end of any one direction extending further outward than the lower battery pack.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR BATTERIES
An example of a battery apparatus (10) is provided including: a housing (12) with a connection arrangement (24); a plurality of interoperable battery cartridges (36) removably fittable to the housing (12) to connect with the connection arrangement (24) to form a stack; at least one battery interface arrangement (17) adapted to be removably fitted to the housing (12) to connect with the connection arrangement (24) so as to be in communication with a selection of the plurality of interoperable battery cartridges (26) via the connection arrangement (24). Examples of battery cartridges (36), a system (5) including one or more battery apparatuses (10), and associated example methods are also disclosed.
BATTERY PACK, ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM, AND VEHICLE
A battery pack has improved safety against external impacts, and an energy storage system and a vehicle including the same. The battery pack includes a battery module having at least one battery cell; a tray having a plate shape so that the battery module is mounted thereon; a reinforcing member having a plate shape and mounted on the tray, the reinforcing member having at least a portion coupled to the tray and the other portion supporting the battery module upward, the reinforcing member being configured to form a space separated from the tray below the other portion supporting the battery module; and an elastic member constrained in the separated space in an elastically deformed state and configured to press a lower surface of the reinforcing member upward.
Backup battery system
A backup battery system includes a charging-discharging module and a battery module. The charging-discharging module includes a first connector and a first engaging member. The battery module is detachably connected to the charging-discharging module and includes a second connector corresponding to the first connector and a second engaging member corresponding to the first engaging member. When the battery module is connected to the charging-discharging module, the first connector is joined with the second connector and the first engaging member is fixed to the second engaging member.
ENTRYWAY SYSTEMS WITH VARIABLE LIGHT TRANSMISSION PANELS
The present invention relates to variable optical transmission windows and window panels which are used for architectural applications, particularly in building entryway systems. This disclosure is directed to the use and powering of such panels in door and windows that, in part, physically open by manual or automatic sliding, tilting, pushing or rotating about the hinges, unless specifically mentioned otherwise. The doors may also have other electronic devices which provided added user functionality.
Power storage system and container type power storage system
A power storage system of the present technology includes a battery board configured to accommodate a secondary battery, a branch board, a first frame on which the battery board is placed, a second frame on which the branch board is placed, and a plurality of connection wirings that are disposed in the first frame and the second frame and connects the battery board and the branch board. The plurality of connection wirings are aggregated in the second frame.
POWER STORAGE APPARATUS
An energy storage system includes at least one battery rack and an anti-explosion housing hermetically accommodating the at least one battery rack to increase fire or explosion safety of the battery rack.
Energy storage module
An energy storage module includes: a cover member accommodating a plurality of battery cells in an internal receiving space, each of the battery cells including a vent; a top plate coupled to a top of the cover member and including a duct corresponding to the vent of at least one of the battery cells; a top cover coupled to a top of the top plate and having an exhaust area corresponding to the duct, the exhaust area having a plurality of discharge openings, the top cover including a protrusion protruding from a bottom surface of the top cover, the protrusion extending around a periphery of the exhaust area and around a distal end of the duct; and an extinguisher sheet between the top cover and the top plate, the extinguisher sheet being configured to emit a fire extinguishing agent at a reference temperature.
