The secondary battery also includes a valve fixed to the sealing portion. The valve includes a body forming a passage having opened one end facing the inside of the pouch and provided with a chamber connected to the passage, wherein a discharge hole communicating with the outside is formed in the chamber. The valve also includes a gate seated on a hook protrusion forming a boundary between the passage and the chamber to open or close the passage. The valve also includes a spring mounted to apply elastic force in a direction in which the gate is closed.

This application relates to an end cover assembly, a battery cell, a degassing method, a battery, and an electric apparatus. The end cover assembly includes: an end cover plate provided with a degassing hole, where the degassing hole penetrates through the end cover plate; and a degassing apparatus mounted in the degassing hole, where the degassing apparatus includes a columnar portion, a first limiting portion, a second limiting portion, a first elastic member, and a second elastic member. The columnar portion penetrates through the degassing hole. The first limiting portion and the second limiting portion are respectively located on an outer side and an inner side of the end cover plate. The first elastic member is located between the first limiting portion and the end cover plate. The second elastic member is located between the second limiting portion and the end cover plate.

A battery module prevents an electrolyte solution from leaking out in the event of electrolyte solution leakage. To achieve the object, the battery module according to the present disclosure includes at least one cell assembly including a plurality of secondary batteries stacked in a direction, each secondary battery including an electrode lead, a base plate disposed below the cell assembly and extending in a horizontal direction to support a bottom of the cell assembly, and at least one base insulation member interposed between the cell assembly and the base plate and having a receiving portion formed concavely in a downward direction to receive a part of the cell assembly.

The battery assembly is disposed at an accommodating portion between the frame and the first beam, and has a first end and provided with a first explosion-proof valve, and a second end provided with a second explosion-proof valve. A distance from the second explosion-proof valve to the bottom plate is greater than that from the first explosion-proof valve to the bottom plate.

A battery unit includes a secondary battery, a first trap, and a second trap. The secondary battery includes a battery case provided with a gas vent valve, and an electrolyte solution enclosed in the battery case. The first trap includes a mesh material disposed outside the battery case so as to oppose and cover the gas vent valve. The second trap includes a liquid retaining material made of a non-flammable material and disposed further outward of the first trap so as to oppose and cover the gas vent valve.

This application relates to an end cover assembly, a battery cell, a degassing method, a battery, and an electric apparatus. The end cover assembly includes: an end cover plate provided with a degassing hole, where the degassing hole penetrates through the end cover plate; and a degassing apparatus mounted in the degassing hole, where the degassing apparatus includes a columnar portion, a first limiting portion, a second limiting portion, a first elastic member, and a second elastic member. The columnar portion penetrates through the degassing hole. The first limiting portion and the second limiting portion are respectively located on an outer side and an inner side of the end cover plate. The first elastic member is located between the first limiting portion and the end cover plate. The second elastic member is located between the second limiting portion and the end cover plate.

Provided is a lithium ion battery module that has high safety and that even when runaway occurs, makes it difficult for this runaway to spread to other cells. The lithium ion battery module includes a cell unit including a plurality of cells provided with a rupture valve and a spacer including a recess, wherein the cell unit is covered by the spacer such that the rupture valve and the recess are arranged opposite each other, the recess has a depth of more than 0.5 mm, the spacer contains a resin, and a wall section formed of the spacer is provided between adjacent cells.

An embodiment of the present invention relates to a secondary battery, and a technical issue to address is to provide a secondary battery having excellent stability. To this end, disclosed is a secondary battery, comprising: an electrode assembly; a can which accommodates the electrode assembly and an electrolyte, and has a beading part formed above the electrode assembly; a cap assembly for sealing the can; and an adsorption member which is disposed in a space including at least a gap between the electrode assembly and the beading part, and which reacts with the electrolyte after a specific time period lapses after coming into contact with the electrolyte, thereby adsorbing the electrolyte.
