Bipolar Storage Battery
A bipolar storage battery is described in which, even when growth occurs in a positive electrode due to corrosion caused by sulfuric acid contained in an electrolytic solution, the electrolytic solution has difficulty penetrating an interface between the positive electrode and an adhesive and battery performance is hard to decrease. The bipolar storage battery includes a bipolar electrode including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a bipolar plate in which the positive electrode is provided on one surface and the negative electrode is provided on the other surface. The bipolar electrode includes a covering member configured to cover a peripheral part of an opposite surface of the positive electrode in close contact with the peripheral part, the opposite surface being opposite to a surface, of the positive electrode, bonded to the bipolar plate.
BATTERY TERMINAL BUSHING & LEAD ACID BATTERY
A battery terminal bushing is disclosed. The battery terminal bushing comprises a body having an insertion end and an exterior end opposite the insertion end. One or more sealing rings surround the body between the insertion end and the exterior end. A terminal post connector segment is provided on the insertion end of the body. An anti-torque pattern is provided on one or more surfaces of the body configured to engage and be contained within the battery housing material. A lead acid battery comprising the battery terminal bushing is also disclosed.

RECHARGEABLE ELECTRICAL STORAGE DEVICES
Electrical storage devices (10,38) are provided with pasted negative electrodes (12) and pasted positive electrodes (15) with porous separators (18) between them, with current collectors (20,22) disposed between the separator (18) and the negative and positive pastes (13,16), respectively.
Wound cylindrical lithium-sulfur battery including electrically-conductive carbonaceous materials
A lithium-sulfur battery includes a casing, a top lid circumferentially welded to the casing, a negative contact surface positioned opposite the top lid, a positive terminal disposed within the casing, welded to the top lid, and configured as a mandrel, a glass insulator circumferentially wound around the mandrel, and a jelly roll including at least an anode and a cathode wound around the mandrel. The jelly roll may also include a top surface not in contact with the top lid, a bottom surface partially in contact with the negative contact surface, and partially in contact with a plurality of non-hollow carbonaceous spherical particles disposed between the bottom surface of the jelly roll and the negative contact surface. At least some of the non-hollow carbonaceous spherical particles may provide one or more electrically-conductive pathways between the bottom surface and the negative contact surface.
Electrode Lead Made of Dissimilar Metals and Method of Manufacturing the Same
The present invention relates to an electrode lead made of dissimilar metals and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly to an electrode lead including a first metal plate and a second metal plate, wherein a first metal constituting the first metal plate and second metals having a lower melting temperature than the first metal are mixed in the second metal plate in the state in which the second metals are dispersed, and a method of manufacturing the same.

Method and Machine for Manufacturing a Fibre Electrode
A method for forming a connection such as an electrical connection, to a fibre material electrode element comprises moving a length of the fibre material relative to a pressure injection stage and pressure impregnating by a series of pressure injection pulses a lug material into a lug zone part of the fibre material to surround and/or penetrate fibres of the fibre material and form a lug strip in the lug zone. The fibre material may be a carbon fibre material and the lug material a metal such as Pb or a Pb alloy. Apparatus for forming an electrical connection to a fibre material electrode element is also disclosed.
Battery cell connector
The invention relates to a battery cell connector with a first and a second substantially flat limb (1, 2), wherein the first limb (1) has a connecting side (3) for connection to a plurality of electrodes of a battery, the second limb (2) is arranged at an angle with respect to the first limb (1) and extends from that side (4) of the first limb which is opposite the connection side (3), wherein a shoulder (5) is provided which extends from the first to the second limb. Against this background, the invention specifies a battery cell connector with a high current-carrying capacity which is improved in comparison with the known battery cell connectors. For this purpose, the invention provides that the profile of the height (h) of the shoulder (5) from the first limb (1) towards the second limb is nonlinear and is convex with respect to the first and the second limb (1, 2).
LEAD-ACID BATTERY
A lead-acid battery includes an electrode plate assembly, a battery case, a positive electrode strap, a negative electrode strap, a positive electrode post, a negative electrode post, a cover, and an electrolyte solution. A negative electrode bushing provided in the cover and the negative electrode post together constitute a negative electrode terminal. A maximum value of a gap between an outer circumferential surface of the negative electrode post and an inner circumferential surface of the negative electrode bushing in the negative electrode terminal is 0.5 mm or more and 2.5 mm or less. A rib is provided in a lower part of the negative electrode bushing, and a minimum value of a protrusion height of the rib is 1.5 mm or more and 4.0 mm or less.
