A communication system comprising a radio device and a gooseneck device. The radio device may be coupled to a first antenna and a second antenna. A feedline gooseneck device may be coupled to the first antenna. The feedline gooseneck device may include a coaxial cable coupled between the mobile device and the first antenna and a ferrite element positioned along the coaxial cable. The ferrite element is configured to reduce EM interaction between the first and the second antenna. The ferrite element may be one of a plurality of ferrite elements and the feedline gooseneck device may further include a plurality of flexible elements positioned adjacent to each of the plurality of ferrite elements. The ferrite element(s) may surround at least 60% of a length of the coaxial cable. The first antenna may be removably coupled to the gooseneck device. The system allows for reduction of an amount of electromagnetic interference between the first antenna coupled to the gooseneck and the second antenna.

RADIO ANTENNA INTERFACE

A radio antenna interface for a portable radio is provided comprising a radio housing having a control top with a circular walled control top opening for receiving an antenna, the circular walled control top opening having an interior surface with a protruding bumper feature formed thereon. An antenna having has a base portion for insertion into the circular walled control top opening, the base portion has a ring feature forming a full circumference bump around the base portion. Once the antenna is assembled with the portable radio, the ring feature is located beneath and abuts with the protruding bumper to form the radio antenna interface. The radio antenna interface provides increased friction to minimize loosening of the antenna under extreme usage conditions.

ANTENNA STRUCTURE AND ANTENNA-STRUCTURE COMBINATION METHOD

An antenna-structure combination method includes following steps. Provide a circuit board. At least one joint hole penetrating the circuit board is formed in the circuit board. At least one electrode layer and one feeding line are formed on a periphery of the joint hole. The feeding line is electrically connected to the electrode layer. Provide a chip antenna. The chip antenna includes a base. The base has a wiring section. A fixed connection section is arranged at one end of the wiring section. The fixed connection section is formed with a conductive layer. The fixed connection section of the chip antenna penetrates the joint hole of the circuit board, so that the conductive layer is electrically fixed to the electrode layer, so that the chip antenna is fixedly connected onto the circuit board in an upright manner.

VEHICLE ANTENNA MAST CLEANING ROD CONVERSION SYSTEM FOR FIREARM CLEANING
20170350671 · 2017-12-07 ·

A vehicle radio antenna mast, temporarily removed from a vehicle, is converted for other use by employing one or more conversion members that connect other components, such as firearm bore cleaning apparatus, with the ends of the antenna mast. After being used for the alternative purpose the antenna mast is restored to its primary use as a vehicle antenna by removing the conversion members and connecting the mast with antenna mounting apparatus of the vehicle.

Article, integrated device, apparatus and method for mounting a satellite feed structure to an antenna reflector unit

An article, integrated device, apparatus and a method for mounting a satellite antenna feed structure to an antenna reflector unit. The device comprises, in combination, a housing associated with the feed structure and a cup mounted to the antenna reflector unit. The housing includes a plurality of members projecting radially therefrom, the members being arranged and configured for cooperative engagement with slots correspondingly arranged and configured in the cup, a resilient gasket lining at least a bottom interior surface of the cup. Alternatively, the cup includes a plurality of inwardly projecting members arranged and configured for cooperative engagement with slots correspondingly arranged and configured in the housing. Upon positioning the housing axially relative to, and in mating engagement with, the cup, engaging the members with and sliding them into receiving ports of the slots, rotating the housing such that the members engage with and slide along the slots, and thereby biasing a mating portion of the housing against the gasket lining, the housing is engaged firmly within the cup.

Portable antenna

An antenna having an elongated housing open at one end and defining an interior chamber. A telescoping mast has a carrier attached at a first end and a flexible antenna attached at its other end. The carrier with the attached mast and antenna is movable between a storage position in which the carrier, mast, and antenna are contained within the interior chamber of the housing, and a deployed position in which the mast and attached antenna protrude outwardly from the housing. A spring is positioned between the carrier and the housing which urges the carrier towards its deployed position. A catch mechanism selectively holds the carrier in its stored position and, when released, releases the spring to move the antenna to its deployed position.
