A microwave transmission arrangement, comprising an electrically conductive hollow waveguide having a first waveguide portion, a second waveguide portion between the first waveguide portion and a first end of the hollow waveguide, and a conductive transition surface of the hollow waveguide forming a transition between the first waveguide portion and the second waveguide portion; and a microwave circuit board including a dielectric carrier, and a first conductor pattern on a first side of the dielectric carrier, the first conductor pattern including a patch for radiating or receiving microwave signals in the predefined wavelength range, and a first ground plane surrounding the patch, wherein the first ground plane of the microwave circuit board is in conductive contact with the first end of the hollow waveguide, and extends into the second waveguide portion cross-section area to define at least one conductive pocket together with the second waveguide portion and the transition surface of the hollow waveguide.

Systems and methods for sensing a level of a volume of a liquid in a container using one or more antenna elements
A liquid level sensor system can include a container configured to hold a volume of a liquid and a monopole antenna arranged proximate the volume of the liquid. A radiofrequency circuit may be configured to apply a radio frequency signal to the monopole antenna and provide one or more signals indicative of a level of the volume of the liquid within the container based on a radio frequency characteristic of the monopole antenna.
Smart sensor device and antenna structure for use therewith
A sensor device includes a housing, a substrate positioned within the housing, at least one radiative antenna element positioned upon a first surface of the substrate, and a processing section positioned in a stacked arrangement with the substrate, opposite a second surface of the substrate. The substrate includes at least one interruption configured to allow light entering the housing to pass through the substrate from the first surface through the second surface. The antenna elements(s) is positioned upon the substrate so as to avoid the interruption(s). The processing section includes light-responsive circuitry and is configured such that the circuitry is positioned so as to receive light entering the housing through the at least one aperture. The substrate may be generally circular, substantially rigid, have a substantially certain radius between about three-fourths inch and about four inches, and have a substantially certain thickness between about 0.05 inches and about one-half inch.
Antenna arrangement
An antenna arrangement for a sensor for plant automation, including for fill level or limit level monitoring, is provided including a primary radiator configured to emit a radar signal, a first lens configured to focus the radar signal, and at least one second lens configured to optimize the focused radar signal, the second lens being disposed at a distance from the first lens and the primary radiator, providing thermal, electrical, or medial decoupling of the primary radiator and the first lens from the second lens.
System Consisting of a Fill Level Measuring Device for Measuring the Fill Level of a Medium in a Container and Attachment and an Attachment
A system includes a fill level measuring device and at least one attachment. The fill level measuring device measures the fill level of a medium in a container. The fill level measuring device has a control and evaluation unit for generating a measurement signal, and a process connection element. The process connection element has a transmission element on the medium side. The transmission element is at least partially permeable to the measurement signal. The at least one attachment is connected to the process connection element. The at least one attachment has, on the medium side, an attachment lens for coupling the measurement signal into the container. The attachment lens is designed and, during operation, arranged behind the transmission element in the propagation direction of the measurement signal in such a way that the attachment lens changes the opening angle of the measurement signal.
FASTENING DEVICE FOR A SENSOR
A mounting device is provided for a sensor, configured to attach the sensor to a container, including: a first mechanical interface configured to attach the mounting device to a corresponding first mating mechanical interface of the container; and a second mechanical interface configured to attach the mounting device to a corresponding second mating mechanical interface of the container, in which the mounting device is configured to receive the sensor. A container having a mounting device, and a method of attaching a sensor to a container, are also provided.
SENSOR ASSEMBLY WITH ALIGNMENT DEVICE
A sensor arrangement is provided for level measurement or limit level measurement of a filling material or a bulk material in a container, the sensor arrangement including: a sensor with an antenna; and a sensor housing having an alignment device including a first portion and a second portion configured to receive the antenna, the first portion and the second portion being configured to be rotatable relative to each other, in which the alignment device is configured to change a radiation direction of a measurement signal of the sensor by rotating the first section and/or the second section. A sensor housing including an alignment device is also provided.

A nozzle cap assembly includes a nozzle cap defining a bore, the bore defining internal threading configured to mount the nozzle cap on a nozzle of a fire hydrant; an enclosure attached to the nozzle cap; a vibration sensor positioned within the enclosure; a circuit board positioned within the enclosure, the circuit board connected in electrical communication with the vibration sensor, the circuit board configured to process an electrical current transmitted by the vibration sensor; and an antenna connected in electrical communication with the circuit board, the antenna configured to transmit a signal received from the circuit board.

The disclosure relates to an antenna array for a filling level measuring device. The antenna array comprises an antenna, a horn antenna, a plastic housing, a printed circuit board and a casting compound. The antenna is adapted to communicatively connect the printed circuit board to an external device, the horn antenna comprises the form of a hollow truncated cone, and at least an inner side of the horn antenna is provided with a metallic material. Furthermore, the antenna, the horn antenna, the printed circuit board and the casting compound are arranged within the plastic housing, and the antenna and the horn antenna are at least partially surrounded by the casting compound.
