System and method for fine-tuning electromagnetic beams
System and method for fine-tuning electromagnetic beams. One embodiment includes an array of electromagnetic radiators and beam-narrowing configuration. The array of electromagnetic radiators together generates an electromagnetic beam toward a configurable direction. The beam-narrowing configuration narrows the electromagnetic beam and consequently fine-tune the configurable direction. Optionally, the array of electromagnetic radiators is a phased-array that achieves the configurable direction electronically. Additionally or alternatively, the array of electromagnetic radiators is a millimeter-wave array, and the electromagnetic beam is a millimeter-wave beam.

A method of operation of the waveguide antenna (200) is also disclosed, comprising: operating the transceiver at a first frequency (f1) to detect objects in a first field of view; and operating the transceiver at a second frequency (fa) to detect objects in a second field of view
VEHICLE ANTENNA SYSTEM
A vehicle antenna system having high transmission and reception efficiency is provided. A vehicle antenna system includes an antenna that is attached to a vehicle and is capable of transmitting and receiving radio waves of a predetermined frequency band. The antenna is attached to the vehicle in such a way that an elevation angle of the antenna with respect to a horizontal plane becomes large in a predetermined angle range in accordance with the height of a communication frequency band.
LENS ANTENNA, DETECTION APPARATUS, AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
This application provides a lens antenna, a detection apparatus, and a communications apparatus. The lens antenna includes a feed source, a radio frequency switch, at least two narrow beam radiation units, and a wide beam radiation unit. The feed source may selectively feed any narrow beam radiation unit or the wide beam radiation unit by using the radio frequency switch.
The narrow beam radiation unit or the wide beam radiation unit may be connected to the feed source by switching of the radio frequency switch. A first radiation region of the wide beam radiation unit covers a second radiation region of each narrow beam radiation unit. The wide beam radiation unit includes a plurality of radiation sub-units, and the plurality of radiation sub-units are connected to the radio frequency switch by using a power splitter. In this way, radiation of the plurality of radiation sub-units forms a wide beam.
A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR REDUCING PARTICULATE POLLUTANTS IN AIR, USING PULSED ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES
Disclosed is a system and method for reducing particulate pollutants in air, using pulsed electromagnetic waves. The disclosed system 200 comprises a device 215 configured for radiating radio waves, preferably in the frequency range of 800 MHz to 5 GHz in a predefined pulsed manner. Essentially, the disclosed device comprises a radiofrequency oscillator 315 configured for oscillating at the predefined frequency. The signal is then suitably power amplified with an RF amplifier 310 and using a suitable switch 235 the amplified output is routed to one of an omnidirectional antenna 240 and directional antenna 245 for radiating the pulsed radio waves to the atmosphere.
Beam forming using an antenna arrangement
There are provided mechanisms for beam forming using an antenna array comprising dual polarized elements. A method comprises generating one or two beam ports. The one or two beam ports are defined by combining at least two non-overlapping subarrays. Each subarray has two subarray ports. The two subarray ports have identical power patterns and mutually orthogonal polarizations. The at least two non-overlapping subarrays are combined via expansion weights. The expansion weights and map the one or two beam ports to subarray ports such that the one or two beam ports have the same power pattern as the subarrays. At least some of the expansion weights have identical non-zero magnitude and are related in phase to form a transmission lobe. The method comprises transmitting signals using said one or two beam ports.
LENSED MULTIPLE BAND MULTIPLE BEAM MULTIPLE COLUMN DUAL-POLARIZED ANTENNA

In a preferred embodiment, the antenna system comprises a plurality of spherical, dielectric lenses, stacked vertically, where each lens is surrounded by four or more lower frequency radiating elements, or one circular element. The circular element can have multiple sub-elements, along with feed gaps.
Phased Array Antenna with Isotropic and Non-Isotropic Radiating and Omnidirectional and Non-Omnidirectional Receiving Elements
A phased array antenna system comprising a plurality of isotropic radiating elements and/or omnidirectional receiving elements addressing close in fields and a plurality of non-isotropic radiating elements and/or non-omnidirectional receiving elements addressing remote fields with the combined elements used to extend the maximum range of the antenna system without increasing the number of element nor the output power of the antenna. The non-isotropic radiating elements and/or the non-omnidirectional receiving elements can be formed by adding focusing structures such as lenses or reflective structures in the radiating path of isotropic radiating elements and/or omnidirectional receiving elements.
