POWER FEED CIRCUIT FOR CIRCULARLY POLARIZED ANTENNA
A power feed circuit for a circularly polarized antenna includes a synthesizing-distributing unit and a phase shift unit. The synthesizing-distributing unit distributes input signals to two paths with the same phase and same amplitude. The phase shift unit has two phase shift circuits connected respectively between the two paths distributed by the synthesizing-distributing unit and two feed points of a circularly polarized antenna. The phase shift unit outputs signals whose phase difference is 90° to the two feed points and of the circularly polarized antenna.

Vertical coupling structure for antenna feeds
Technologies directed to coupling structures for antenna feeds of phased array antennas are described. One circuit board includes a first layer with a first portion of a RF coupling structure, a second layer with a second portion of the RF coupling structure, and a first insulation layer located between the first layer and the second layer. The RF coupling structure is configured to electromagnetically couple a first conductive trace on the first layer and a second conductive trace on the second layer at RF frequencies. The circuit board also includes an RF shielding structure coupled to a ground connection on the second layer and located in the first insulation layer. The RF shielding structure is configured to operate as a RF short circuit between the ground connection and a third conductive trace on the first layer at RF frequencies.
Electronic timepiece
An electronic timepiece suppresses loss of power generating performance of a solar panel, and suppresses drop loss of antenna performance. The electronic timepiece has a pivot; a dial that transmits a light through which the pivot passes; an antenna having a radiating electrode through which the pivot passes; and a solar panel through which the pivot passes and which is disposed between the dial and the radiating electrode. The solar panel has a power generating part that converts light to electrical energy, and is disposed, in a plan view through the thickness direction of the dial, superimposed with the radiating electrode. Part or all of the outside circumference of the radiating electrode is disposed outside the power generating part in plan view.
