LIQUID CRYSTAL ANTENNA

A liquid crystal antenna is described. The liquid crystal antenna includes liquid crystal phase shifter units arranged in an array; a first feeding network line corresponding to an i.sup.th scanning line and extending along a first direction, and/or, a second feeding network line corresponding to an j.sup.th data line and extending along a second direction. The first feeding network line is provided between the i.sup.th scanning line and an (i+1).sup.th scanning line, and a scanning line protrusion protrudes toward a side facing away from the first feeding network line corresponding to the i.sup.th scanning line. The second feeding network line is provided between the j.sup.th data line and a (j+1).sup.th data line, and a data line protrusion protrudes toward a side facing away from the second feeding network line corresponding to the j.sup.th data line.

The antenna device includes: a first dielectric layer; a second dielectric layer disposed on the first dielectric layer; a third dielectric layer disposed between the first dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer; a feed via configured to penetrate the first dielectric layer; a first feed pattern disposed between the first dielectric layer and the third dielectric layer; a second feed pattern disposed between the second dielectric layer and the third dielectric layer and configured to overlap the first feed pattern; and a patch antenna pattern disposed on the second dielectric layer and configured to overlap the first feed pattern and the second feed pattern, wherein a dielectric constant of the third dielectric layer is less than a dielectric constant of the first dielectric layer and a dielectric constant of the second dielectric layer.

An antenna structure includes a first radiator, a second radiator, an antenna ground, and a conductor. The first radiator for resonating at a high frequency band includes a feeding end. The second radiator is connected to the first radiator and resonates at a low frequency band with a part of the first radiator. The antenna ground is located on one side of the first radiator and the second radiator. The conductor is located between the second radiator and the antenna ground in a first direction and connected to the first radiator and the antenna ground. A slit having at least one bending portion is formed among the second radiator, and the conductor and the antenna ground. An electronic device is further provided.

The feeding unit includes a first and a second feeding boards arranged to cross each other on the base board. The first feeding board includes a first feed line configured to supply a first reference-phase signal to a first point on the radiation plate and supply a first antiphase signal having an antiphase relative to the first reference-phase signal to a second point on the radiation plate. The second feeding board includes a second feed line configured to supply a second reference-phase signal to a third point on the radiation plate and supply a second antiphase signal having an antiphase relative to the second reference-phase signal to a fourth point on the radiation plate.

A wireless communication device includes: an antenna including an antenna element, and a ground conductor; an IC connected to the antenna; and a metal member arranged to face the antenna. The ground conductor includes one end and the other end in the X direction. The metal member includes a metal plate, and a projection protruding from the metal plate toward the antenna. The projection is arranged at a position of overlapping with the end of the ground conductor as viewed in the −Z direction. Such a configuration improves the transmission and reception gains at the communication frequency of a radio element.
