COMPOSITE PLATING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
There is provided a composite plating material and a related technique thereof, the composite plating material including: a base material, and a composite plating layer on the base material, the composite plating layer comprising a composite material containing carbon particles and Sb in an Ag layer, with a carbon content of 6.0 mass % or more and a Sb content of 0.5 mass % or more.
HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH CLAD CONTACT BUTTON AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
An electrical connector includes a contact button having a first layer formed of a first electrically conductive material that is attached to a first electrical bus bar and having a second layer formed of a second electrically conductive material clad to the first layer. The electrical connector includes a clamp assembly including a retaining band surrounding the contact button and the first electrical bus bar and having a spring configured to provide a contact force between the contact button and a second electrical bus bar when the second electrical bus bar is disposed between the contact button and the spring.
Pin terminal assembly
A pin terminal assembly includes a pin terminal having a retention section and a cavity adaptor formed of a non-conductive material and engaging the retention section. The cavity adaptor has an outer shape corresponding to a cavity of a housing in which the pin terminal is inserted. The cavity adaptor retains the pin terminal in the cavity.
Dissolvable connector for downhole application
A dissolvable connector allows a wireline or similar conveyance to be detached from a downhole tool or device based on conditions in a downhole environment instead of an external action, such as application of tension or an electrical pulse. The dissolvable connector can be strategically positioned to allow retrieval of expensive tools and equipment that are located above the connector. A protective sheath may be provided around the dissolvable connector that opens or unsheathes based on conditions in the downhole environment (e.g., pressure, temperature), a telemetry signal (e.g., from the surface or from a tool string), or tension, to provide greater control over the timing of the release of the dissolvable connector. Such a dissolvable connector allows the device to be detached from the conveyance without the need for wire-cutting operations or weak-point breaking operations.
CONNECTION TERMINAL
A connection terminal having a copper alloy as a base material, the copper alloy comprising Zn in an amount of 21 mass % or more and 27 mass % or less, Sn in an amount of 0.6 mass % or more and 0.9 mass % or less, Ni in an amount of 2.5 mass % or more and 3.7 mass % or less, and P in an amount of 0.01 mass % or more and 0.03 mass % or less, and the balance being Cu and inevitable impurities, wherein the copper alloy has: a 0.2% proof stress of 620 MPa or higher and 700 MPa or lower, and an electrical conductivity of 15% IACS or higher and 20% IACS or lower.

Terminal, electric wire with terminal using the terminal, and electric connection member
A terminal includes a conductor connecting part, a terminal connecting part, and a graphene film. When a first metal material and a third metal material forming a conductor of an electric wire have different ionization tendencies, the graphene film is provided to be arranged between a first surface and the conductor of the electric wire when the conductor of the electric wire is electrically connected to the conductor connecting part. When a second metal material and a fourth metal material forming a surface of an opposite terminal have different ionization tendencies, the graphene film is provided to be arranged between a second surface and the surface of the opposite terminal when the opposite terminal is electrically connected to the terminal connecting part.
