Electrical contact
An electrical contact for use with an electrical connector includes a conducting part and a supporting part wherein the conducting part has a better conduction characteristic than the supporting part while the supporting part has a better resiliency/strength characteristic than the conducting part. The conducting part includes a main body, an upper contacting arm extending upwardly from the main body and a lower contacting arm extending downwardly from the main body. The supporting part includes a secondary body, an upper supporting arm upwardly extending from the secondary body and a lower supporting arm downwardly extend from the secondary body. The main body and the secondary body are engaged together securely. The end of the upper contacting arm and that of the upper supporting arm are coupled together and the end of the lower contacting arm and that of the lower supporting arm are coupled together.
Input/output terminal and electronic device comprising same
Disclosed are an input/output terminal for connecting an electronic device to an external device and an electronic device comprising the input/output terminal, the input/output terminal comprising: a signal pin allowing signals to be transmitted/received between the electronic device and the external device; a ground pin connected to a ground part of the electronic device; and a resistant material disposed at the end part of the signal pin or the ground pin. Other various embodiments are possible.
Arrangement for making electrical contact, and current connector
An arrangement for electrical contacting of a current connector (3) with a circuit arrangement (1) is provided. The current connector (3) includes at least one contact spring wire (5, 6) with an end contact (5a, 6a), which is configured for spring-loading, and the circuit arrangement (1) includes at least one contact point. The end contact (5a, 6a) and the contact point each form a spring pressure contact, and the end contact (5a, 6a) of the contact spring wire (5, 6) is configured as a bracket with an outer contact surface and at least one cutting edge arranged proximate the contact surface, which is engaged with the contact point.
Compliant organic substrate assembly for rigid probes
A wafer test device and methods of assembling a wafer test device involve a first laminate structure, and a second laminate structure arranged to interface with a microcircuit of the wafer. The wafer test device includes a compliant layer between the first laminate structure and the second laminate structure. The compliant layer includes an elastomer that exhibits compliance within a limited range of movement.
Cable assembly
A cable includes an electrical connector at one end and a sensor at the other end. The connector includes a terminal module having a plurality of contacts embedded within an insulator wherein each contact has a resilient contacting section exposed upon to an exterior in a first vertical direction, and a soldering section exposed in a second vertical direction to be connected to the corresponding wires of the cable and selectively further to a resistor. The sensor includes a case enclosing an LED (Light Emitting Diode) and a PD (Photo Diode both of which are respectively connected to the corresponding contacts respectively soldered to the corresponding wires.
CONNECTOR FOR PROVIDING MORE RELIABLE SIGNAL PROPAGATION BY MAINTAINING CONDUCTOR PIN CONTACT AT CERTAIN PERIMETER PORTIONS THEREOF
A connector assembly that may include a connector portion and an adapter portion that are configured to be coupled to each other. The connector and adapter portions may include first and second conductor portions that are configured to be electrically connected to each other. The first and second conductor portions each may include perimeter end portions that are configured to contact each other when the connector portion and the adapter portion are coupled to each other. One of either the first conductor portion or the second conductor portions may include a perimeter end portion and a radially inward extending end portion that may be configured to extend radially inward from the perimeter end portion of the one conductor and may be axially spaced apart in an axial direction from an inward extremity end portion of the other conductor when the connector portion and the adapter portion are coupled to each other. The perimeter end portions of the first and second conductor portions may be configured to maintain electrical contact between the first and second conductor portions so as to improve signal propagation reliability or continuity between the connector and the adapter during operation of the connector assembly.
Implantable electric connecting structure between an electric implant and an electric feed and drain line structure
The invention is an implantable electrical connection between an electrical implant which has at least one electrical conductor and at least one electrical feed line. The invention further relates to a method for producing an implantable electrical connection between an electrical implant. The invention comprises at least one electrical cable having a cable end, to which an electrically conductive flat piece is unsupportedly fined, and that the at least one implant-side electrical conductor is joined to the flat piece.
INSERT FOR A MULTI-CHANNEL CONNECTOR, MULTI-CHANNEL CONNECTOR AND MULTI-CHANNEL MALE AND FEMALE CONNECTOR KIT
An insert for a multi-channel connector comprising a plurality of main contacts for carrying signals, said plurality of main contacts being arranged according to a main arrangement on a first face of said insert. The insert comprises a plurality of secondary contacts for carrying further signals, in particular for carrying data control signals. Said plurality of secondary contacts are arranged according to a secondary arrangement at empty spaces of said first face of said insert. Moreover, said secondary contacts are configured in such a way as to be operational and allow the carrying of said further signals when said insert for said multi-channel connector is coupled to a further reciprocal insert for a reciprocal multi-channel connector at respective first faces, said further reciprocal insert having the same main arrangement of a reciprocal plurality of main contacts and the same secondary arrangement of a reciprocal plurality of secondary contacts.
