ELASTIC CONTACT SPRING AND ADAPTER USING THE CONTACT SPRING

Disclosed are an elastic contact spring and an adapter using the contact spring, The elastic contact spring comprises two contact parts and a connecting part located between the two contact parts, the two contact parts are arc-shaped and their peripheral surfaces form jacking surfaces in conductive contact with corresponding connectors, the two contact parts are in transition connection via the connecting part and their respective arc-shaped openings are respectively located on two sides of the connecting part. When the elastic contact spring is pressed in use, the arc-shaped contact parts and the connecting part of the elastic contact spring all form deformation parts to disperse the deformation stress, thereby prolonging the service life of the elastic contact spring, and tho elastic contact spring, which is only formed by simple arcs, does not have a special requirement for materials.

Surface-mount-technology-compatible electrical contact

A contact to provide an electrical connection between two circuit boards, such as a rigid circuit board and a flexible circuit board installed in a container, such as an electronic stylus or a cellular telephone. The contact head generally has the shape of an inverted spoon, which allows the contact head to slide smoothly onto a desired electrical contact pad on the flexible circuit board. The contact has a unitary design, including a spring, which reduces the likelihood of damage to the flexible circuit board or to the contact when the rigid circuit board is installed in the electronic stylus. The spring design reduces the likelihood that the contact will be bent when the rigid circuit board is installed, and also allows the contact to be balanced, which is advantageous for wave-soldering operations. The contact also has a pick surface, which is useful in vacuum pick-and-place operations.

COMPLIANT IMPLANTABLE CONNECTOR AND METHODS OF USE AND MANUFACTURE
20170324185 · 2017-11-09 ·

An implantable connector utilizing having improved electrical and mechanical properties is described herein. In one aspect, the implantable connector utilizes electrical contact pins fabricated from a corrosion resistant metal alloy, such as platinum-iridium, that engage longitudinally and include one or more urging members on a proximal portion of the pin so as to provide at least a desired contact force between conductively coupled pins. Such a configuration allows contact between contact pins to be maintained in applications where the connector may be subject to movement and further allows for reduced resistance so as to allow transmission of voltages and current associated with higher powered implanted devices. In some embodiments, the urging member is defined as a helical cut potion in one or both electrical contacts. Methods of use and manufacture of such connectors are also provided herein.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FREQUENCY SHIFTING RESONANCE OF CONNECTOR STUBS

In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a connector may include a housing and an electrically-conductive pin housed in the housing and configured to electrically couple to a corresponding electrically-conductive conduit of an information handling resource comprising the connector. The pin may include a beam extending from the housing and a stub terminating the pin, the stub having a per-unit-length surface area greater than that of the beam.

Face-Contact Electrical Connector For Towing
20220200199 · 2022-06-23 ·

A towing electrical connection, for at least four different wires, is made by face contact elements exposed on one side of a housing, such as in an adapter piece having a standard configuration of prongs/sockets on a back side. The adapter piece can be plugged onto the standard electrical plug of a towing vehicle or trailer a single time, leaving the face contact elements exposed for repeated connection and disconnection each time the trailer is connected or disconnected from the towing vehicle. A magnetic attraction force is used to pull and hold the face contact elements in electrical connection, such as by magnets insert molded into a housing of the adapter piece(s) immediately adjacent the exposed face contact elements. A short twisting rotation of the adapter piece about a longitudinal axis is preferably used during connection and disconnection.

Plug connector

A plug connector provides an electrical connection to a conductor track connection of a printed circuit board. The plug connector has a first printed circuit board with a conductor track connection and a plugging region for plugging the printed circuit board into the plug connector. The plugging region extends parallel to the first printed circuit board. A contact element and/or a spring element is provided in the plug connector. The plugging region and the contact element and/or the spring element are arranged in such a way that, in a plugged state of the plug connector, the printed circuit board which is plugged into the plugging region is arranged parallel to the printed circuit board and the conductor track connection is arranged opposite the conductor track connection. An electrical connection of the conductor track connection to the conductor track connection is provided by the contact element and/or the spring element.

Electronic device having fixed conductive plates and elastic conductive plates

Fixed conductive plates are buried in a case. In its internal space, a first contact surface, which is part of each fixed conductive plate, and a second contact surface, which is an inner surface of the case, are opposite to each other, and an elastic conductive plate is interposed in this opposing portion. The elastic conductive plate is structured so that, in a restricting portion, a support piece portion is fitted to the thin plate portion of the fixed conductive plate and that an elastic arm portion extends from the support piece portion.
