CONTACT ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A contact assembly for an electrical connector includes an array of contacts including signal contacts and ground contacts. The ground contacts are interspersed with the signal contacts to provide electrical shielding between corresponding signal contacts. Each signal contact includes a signal contact body having a first side, a second side opposite the first side, a first edge between the first and second sides, and a second edge between the first and second sides opposite the first edge. The signal contact body includes a signal mating end and a signal terminating end. Each signal contact includes a mating ball formed at the signal mating end of the signal contact body. The mating ball is generally spherical shaped. The mating ball and the signal contact body are a homogeneous structure.
System and method for securing, recharging and operating an electric bicycle
A securing system for securing an electric bicycle to a bicycle docking frame includes a female connecting assembly mountable on the bicycle docking frame and a male connecting assembly mountable on the electric bicycle and sized to be received within a tapered recess of the female connecting assembly. When so received, first current coupling elements of the female assembly electrically interface with second current coupling elements of the male assembly, which can allow current flow therebetween to charge a battery of the electric bicycle. A bicycle rack system includes electric bicycles, bicycle docks, a charging module operable to receive electrical power from an external power source and a charging controller for adjusting the level of electrical power provided to dock-side charging modules that charge battery modules of electric bicycles docked thereto. A method for managing charging is also provided. An electric bicycle is operable to receive a user ride profile from an external device and a motor control module thereof is operable to adjust operation of the motor of the electric bicycle based on the user ride profile.
Terminal-free connectors and circuits comprising terminal-free connectors
Provided are terminal-free connectors for flexible interconnect circuits. A connector comprises a housing chamber defined by at least a first side wall and a second side wall oppositely positioned about the base. An edge support is positioned at each of the first side wall and the second side wall. The edge supports allow for precise placement of the flexible interconnect circuit inside the housing chamber. A cover piece is coupled to the base via a first hinge, and is configured to move between a released position and a clamped position. The cover piece includes a clamp portion securing the flexible interconnect circuit against the edge supports in the clamped position. A slider may be configured to move between an extended position and an inserted position within the housing chamber, and may include a convex upper surface configured to urge the flexible interconnect circuit upwards in the inserted position.
Contact pin for testing semiconductor IC for high speed signal, spring contact including same, and socket device
A contact pin, a spring contact including the same, and a socket device are proposed, in which the contact pin has a minimum length suitable for testing a semiconductor IC for a high speed signal and allows the spring contact to secure a maximum compression distance. The contact pin (100) includes: a plate-shaped body part (110) having a width and a thickness; a head part (120) configured to be integrated with an upper end of the body part (110); and a leg part (130) formed by extending from a lower end of the body part (110) to be integrated therewith, wherein the head part (120) is a plate-shaped strip (122) provided on the upper end of the body part (110).
SHIELDED SOCKET PIN FOR DEVICE-TO-DEVICE CONNECTION
Examples described herein relate to a system that includes: a first signal pin and a first ground pin adjacent to the first signal pin. In some examples, the first signal pin comprises a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. In some examples, the first ground pin comprises a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion, the second portion of the first signal pin comprises a vertical mount, the second portion of the first ground pin comprises a vertical mount, and the second portion of the first signal pin and the second portion of the first ground pin are arranged proximate one another.
Electrical connector and electrical connector assembly
The present invention discloses an electrical connector and an electrical connector assembly. Each of the ground terminals is provided to be in contact with two corresponding first mating terminals in a left-right direction. The terminals may mate with the first and second mating terminals under the same specification, thus facilitating unified automatic production of the mating connector, and may achieve the objectives for increasing the shielding effect of the electrical connector and saving the quantity of the terminals without changing the size of the electrical connector.

Electrical connector
An electrical connector includes an insulating body and multiple terminals accommodated in the insulating body. Each terminal has a base portion, a strip connecting portion extending upward from the base portion to be connected to a strip, and an elastic arm extending from the base portion. The elastic arm has a first tearing edge torn from the strip connecting portion, a second tearing edge torn from the strip, and a blanking edge blanked from the strip. The second tearing edge or the blanking edge has a dividing point. When each terminal is connected to the strip and expanded in a same vertical plane, the dividing point and a top point of the first tearing edge are vertically aligned. After the elastic arm is formed by bending, the dividing point and the first tearing edge are both located at a back side of the strip connecting portion.
Electrical connector
An electrical connector includes an insulating body, and multiple terminals accommodated therein. Each terminal has a connecting portion, two side portions bending backward and extending from left and right sides of the connecting portion, two extending portions provided opposite to each other and extending downward from the two side portions, and two embracing arms connected to lower ends of the two extending portions. The two embracing arms jointly embrace a solder ball, which has a first vertical central plane in a front-rear direction. The two embracing arms are located on two sides of the first vertical central plane. A distance between the front ends of the two embracing arms is less than a distance between the rear ends of the two embracing arms of each terminal. The front ends of the two embracing arms are attached with solder liquid formed by melting of the solder ball during soldering.
ELECTRICAL FIXTURE INSTALLATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A two-piece electrical locking system having a first male piece with a plurality of pins that protrude outwardly from a top surface of the first male piece and a second female piece with a plurality of connection channels that engage with the pins of the first male piece. The first male piece may be tightened and brought closer to the second female piece as the pins rotatably mate with the plurality of connection channels. The two-piece electrical locking system may allow for an electrical fixture to easily and effectively be connected mechanically and electrically to an overhead junction box.
