Electrical connector assembly with protector plate
A connector assembly includes a housing with a terminal cavity and a terminal lock adapted to retain an electrical terminal in the terminal cavity. A terminal position assurance is attached to the housing and engages the terminal lock. The connector assembly also includes a protector plate with a protector body having a front plate face and an opposed back plate face. Terminal openings pass through the protector body. A plurality of staged locks are attached to the protector body for relative rotational movement. The staged locks extending beyond the front plate face and also extending beyond the back plate face. The protector plate is movable relative to the housing in a mate direction from a pre-stage position to a pre-lock position. The protector plate is retained in the pre-lock position relative to the housing against further movement in the mate direction by a staged lock.
CONNECTOR
A connector 10 is provided with: a connector housing 11 having formed therein first cavities 16 extending in a front-back direction; first terminals 12 accommodated inside the first cavities 16; a front mask 13 attached to a front end part of the connector housing 11; and a lid member 14 attached to an upper surface of the connector housing 11. The connector 10 is configured such that the front mask 13 is attached to the connector housing 11 from above, the lid member 14 covers at least a portion of an upper surface of the front mask 13, the front mask 13 has front cavities 35 extending in the front-back direction, and front end parts of the first terminals 12 are accommodated inside the front cavities 35.
Electrical connector assembly having a male blade stabilizer with integrated primary lock reinforcement
An electrical connector assembly includes a connector body defining a terminal cavity therein and a male terminal projecting along a terminal axis to a tip and secured within the terminal cavity by a primary lock feature. The electrical connector assembly also includes a terminal stabilizer defining an aperture that is disposed within the connector body and is moveable from a pre-staged position to a staged position. The electrical connector assembly further includes a primary lock retaining feature that is integrated with the terminal stabilizer and is configured to engage the primary lock feature as the terminal stabilizer moves from the pre-staged position to the staged position.
CONNECTOR
A housing (10) includes a plurality of cavities (14), a first lock receiving portion (21) arranged to correspond to one cavity (14) and a second lock receiving portion (22) arranged to correspond to another cavity (14). A retainer (60) is arranged in the housing (10) to restrict terminal fittings (50) from coming out from the cavities (14). The retainer (60) includes a deflectable and deformable deflecting piece (71). The deflecting piece (71) includes a first locking portion (73) for locking the first lock receiving portion (21), a second locking portion (74) for locking the second lock receiving portion (22) and a slit (72) arranged between the first locking portion (73) and the second locking portion (74). The slit (72) is open in a separating direction of the retainer (60) from the housing (10).
CONNECTOR
There is provided a connector including: a protrusion portion provided on a second housing at a position close to and facing a distal end portion of a locking portion in a locked state in which the locking portion is locked to a locked portion, so that the protrusion portion restricts an action of an external force on the distal end portion of the locking portion in the locked state.
CONNECTOR
A connector comprises a housing including a terminal accommodating chamber; and a front mask to cover a front side of the housing in a terminal inserting direction, wherein the housing includes a housing main body and an engagement frame section, wherein the engagement frame section protrudes forward from the housing main body, wherein the front mask includes a mask main body and an inserted section, the mask main body being provided with an accommodating recess in a position of the mask main body facing the terminal accommodating chamber, wherein the inserted section is inserted inside the engagement frame section, and wherein in a state in which the inserted section is inserted inside the engagement frame section and the accommodating recess is located in a position facing the terminal accommodating chamber, a portion of the inserted section protrudes from the engagement frame section and is exposed.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH POSITIVE LOCKING POSITION ASSURANCE
An electrical connector comprises a housing defining a receptacle opening for receiving a mating connector in a mating direction and a terminal positioning component slidably received within the receptacle opening and moveable in the mating direction. The terminal positioning component includes a pin protection plate defining at least one aperture sized to receive a conductive pin of at least one terminal arranged within the housing, and a terminal assurance element extending from the pin protection plate in the mating direction. The terminal assurance element is adapted to prevent the movement of the component in the mating direction when the at least one terminal is in a partially inserted state within the housing. The connector further comprises a first locking element arranged on a wall of the housing for selectively fixing the position of the terminal positioning component within the receptacle in the mating direction.
TERMINAL POSITION ASSURANCE AND CONNECTOR
Provided are a terminal position assurance and a connector, which belong to the technical field of connectors. The terminal position assurance includes a positioning body, an upper-row snap, a limiting member, and a lower-row snap. The positioning body extends along a first direction. Two upper-row snaps are provided, fixedly connected to the positioning body separately, and disposed opposite to each other. The limiting member is connected to one side of the positioning body and extends along a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction. Two lower-row snaps are provided, fixedly connected to the limiting member separately, and disposed opposite to each other.
CONNECTOR
A connector (10) is provided with a terminal fitting (60) to be connected to a circuit board (120), a housing (20) for accommodating the terminal fitting (60), a board accommodating portion (50) for accommodating the circuit board (120) in the housing (20), a retainer mounting hole (54) provided in the housing (20), and a retainer (80) for locking the terminal fitting (60) by being inserted into the retainer mounting hole (54). A thermal expansion difference between the retainer (80) and the circuit board (120) is set larger than that between the housing (20) and the circuit board (120).
Electrical connector with terminal position assurance clip
An electrical connector includes a housing that defines a cavity at a mating end. A terminal retention (TR) block is mounted to the housing within the cavity. The TR block defines multiple channels configured to receive contacts therein.
