ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME
An electrical connector and a manufacturing method for the same. The electrical connector comprises a housing member and a plugging module. One end of the housing member is provided with a mating interface. An accommodating space communicating with the mating interface is provided in the housing member. The plugging module comprises a first circuit board, a plurality of electrical conductors and a plurality of first soldering pads. The first circuit board is disposed in the accommodating space. The first circuit board comprises a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The plurality of electrical conductors are disposed on the first surface and/or the second surface and is close to the mating interface. The plurality of first soldering pads are disposed on the second surface and are electrically connected with the plurality of electrical conductors.
Pin terminal assembly
A pin terminal assembly includes a pin terminal having a retention section and a cavity adaptor formed of a non-conductive material and engaging the retention section. The cavity adaptor has an outer shape corresponding to a cavity of a housing in which the pin terminal is inserted. The cavity adaptor retains the pin terminal in the cavity.
Waterproof cable and waterproof cable manufacturing method
To provide a waterproof cable that is easily manufactured and improves waterproofness. The waterproof cable includes: a first cable; a second cable, an end of which is connected with an end of the first cable; a first resin member that coats a connecting part and is formed by insert-molding; a second resin member that coats the first resin member and is formed by insert-molding; and a third resin member that coats the second resin member and is formed by insert-molding.
Coaxial connector having an outer conductor engager
A connector for a coaxial cable includes a coupler configured to engage another coaxial cable connector, a body configured to be disposed at least partially within the coupler, and an outer conductor engager made of a conductive material disposed within the body and the coupler. An interior of the body includes a biasing element, and a compression sleeve is disposed at an opposite axial side of the outer conductor engager relative to the biasing element. The compression sleeve, the outer conductor engager, and the body are configured such that opposite axial forces applied to the compression sleeve and the outer conductor engager cause the outer conductor engager to move axially relative to one another and to cause the outer conductor engager to move axially relative to the body when the connector is coupled to the coaxial cable. The outer conductor engager is configured to be compressed by the biasing member when the outer conductor engager portion moves relative to the body such that an interior surface of the outer conductor engager portion is compressed radially inward against an outer conductor of the coaxial cable.
Battery connection device
A battery connection device for connecting to a vehicle battery includes a top member, a bottom member having a side wall and a bottom wall. The side wall, top member, and bottom member form a box-like enclosure. The bottom wall includes a through-hole with a circumferential face, an adapter member arranged inside the box-like enclosure extends at least partially through the through-hole for connection with the battery. A dimension of the adapter member is smaller than a dimension of the through-hole to form a gap between an outer face of the adapter member facing the circumferential face and the circumferential face, and flexible connection member connected to the adapter member and to the bottom member and closing the gap between the outer face and the circumferential face. The flexible connection member includes an electromagnetic shield for shielding electromagnetic radiation and a seal for sealing the gap against dust and/or moisture.
CONNECTING PART FOR A PLUG-IN CONNECTION SYSTEM
Described is a connecting part for a plug-in connection system of a coupling device for automatically coupling a trailer vehicle to a towing vehicle, comprising: a contact carrier, a contact structure mounted on the contact carrier and engageable with a contact structure of a complementary connecting part of the plug-in connection system to establish a plug-in connection with the complementary connecting part during automatic coupling, a closure flap pivotable relative to the contact carrier, which is biased onto the contract carrier and is releasable from the contact carrier in a pivoting movement against this bias when the plug-in connection is established, and a seal which is arranged on the contact carrier and is elastically deformable by a counterpart pressing on the seal in order to seal the contact structure with respect to the exterior space, wherein the counterpart is formed by the closure flap pressing on the seal when the plug-in connection is disconnected and by the complementary connecting part of the plug-in connection system pressing on the seal when the plug-in connection is established, characterized in that the contact carrier comprises at least one sealing groove enclosing the contact structure and the seal is formed of at least one sealing lip which is inserted into the sealing groove and has a sealing profile which is inclined toward a side facing away from the contact structure, so that the sealing lip deforms elastically toward this side when the counterpart presses on the sealing lip.
CONNECTOR CONNECTION STRUCTURE
A connector connection structure includes: a first connector; a second connector electrically connected to the first connector; a unit to which the first connector is ground-connected; and a seal member sealing a gap between the first connector and the unit. The unit has a hole portion that includes a first portion and a second portion having a diameter smaller than a diameter of the first portion. The first connector includes shield shell provided with a contact portion having a contact part that is to abut an inner peripheral surface. A radius of the first portion is larger than a distance from a central axis of an electric wire of the first connector to a contact part in a neutral state. A core wire of the electric wire is electrically connected to a terminal portion of the second connector via a terminal portion of the first connector.
NOVEL CABLE AND CABLE-SEALING STRUCTURE OF CONNECTOR
Disclosed are a novel cable and a cable-sealing structure of a connector. The novel cable includes a conductor, an insulating layer, a shielding layer, an outer sheath, and a sealing protection ring. When the cable is installed inside a connector body, a circular seal is hooped outside the outer sheath at an area corresponding to a position of the sealing protection ring. When the circular seal presses the outer sheath of the cable, the sealing protection ring can support the outer sheath, so that the outer sheath may not be deformed. After long-term use or a high-temperature aging test, the outer sheath of the invention has a much smaller shrinkage of a diameter than an outer sheath without the sealing protection ring, therefore, the sealing performance and the safety of the connector are improved, and the service life of the connector is greatly prolonged.
