WIRING MEMBER

Technology capable of reducing the number of tubular protective members in a wiring member is provided. The wiring member includes: multiple electric wires that branch into multiple branch lines from a main line at a branch position; a connection component provided at an end portion of a target branch line among the branch lines; and a resin molded body that includes a main body portion and an extending portion. The main body portion covers all of the electric wires at the branch position, and the extending portion extends from the main body portion and covers a portion of the target branch line that is between the main body portion and the connection component.

Electric cable assembly

An electric cable assembly includes an electric cable having a cable jacket and one or more electrical wires extending through the cable jacket, the cable jacket defining one or more retention structures arranged at an outer surface of the cable jacket; and a sleeve adapted to connect to an electrical connector and surrounding the cable jacket in an area outside the electrical connector, the sleeve including one or more engagement structures engaged with the one or more retention structures, where the engagement of the one or more retention structures with the one or more engagement structures facilitates a retention of the sleeve with the cable jacket.

LEVER-TYPE CONNECTOR

The present invention provides a lever-type connector capable of preventing the position of a slider from being displaced by a gear of a wire cover coming into contact with rack teeth of a slider when the wire cover is attached to a housing. A lever-type connector (C) is provided with: a housing (10); a slider (20) that is provided to be movable in a first direction with respect to the housing (10), and has a plurality of rack teeth (22) arranged in the first direction; a wire cover (30) that is installed on the housing (10), and covers a wire draw-out surface (12) of the housing (10); and a lever (40) that is rotatably installed in the wire cover (30), has a gear (44) engaging with the rack teeth (22), and moves the slider (20). The housing (10) has a fulcrum part (50) that rotatably supports the wire cover (30), and a positioning part (60) that causes the gear (44) to face a position where the gear is engabeable with the rack teeth (22) by hitting against the wire cover (30).

WIRING MEMBER

A wiring member includes: a linear transmission member that includes an electric wire; a connector housing; an outer armor member; and a cover member that is provided between the connector housing and the outer armor member in a lengthwise direction of the electric wire, and attached to an outer circumferential portion of the linear transmission member. The cover member and the linear transmission member are relatively movable in the lengthwise direction of the electric wire, and the connector housing and the outer armor member restrict a movement of the cover member in the lengthwise direction of the electric wire. The cover member is an elastic member, and includes an elastic cylindrical portion that is compression-deformable in a lengthwise direction of the cover member.

Systems and methods for a coupler including: a cable comprising a bend relief disposed at an end of the cable and one or more wires; a socket comprising one or more pins and one or more socket terminals, where the one or more pins are electrically connected to the one or more socket terminals; and a housing body disposed between the cable and the socket, where the housing body comprises a portion of the bend relief and the one or more wires connected to the one or more socket terminals, and where at least a portion of the housing body is made of hot melt such that the housing body encapsulates the portion of the bend relief, the one or more socket terminals, and the one or more wires connected to the one or more socket terminals.

WIRE COMB

The present invention is directed to a wire comb. The wire comb includes a flat body which includes a first end and a second end. The ends are connected by an arcuate section which has an upper and lower surface. The upper surface of the arcuate section has a wire mount area that includes at least one opening formed in the upper surface with each opening including a shape selected to receive and hold a wire within. A mounting feature extends from at least one of the first end and the second end. The mounting feature is adapted to engage a printed circuit board.

Connector including a shell with an orientable conduit and a method for mounting a connector

An illustrative example embodiment of a connector shell includes a connector cover and a cable-guiding sleeve having a curved conduit. The cover and the cable-guiding sleeve are made up of two separate elements. The cable-guiding sleeve is mounted on the cover so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation. The cable-guiding sleeve and the cover comprise means for blocking the rotation of the cable-guiding sleeve on the cover in at least two different pre-set angular positions about the axis of rotation. These blocking means comprise shapes that engage with each other in a complementary way, and that are able to release each other and allow the passage from one angular position to the next.

Helical strain relief for electrical conductors, fiber optic cables, or other cables

An apparatus includes a strain relief formed in helical shape and formed with a U-shaped channel. The strain relief can be used around a cable of a component or a spool extension of a fiber tray.
