A cover has a back wall facing the rear surface of a housing and a pair of facing walls projecting from the back wall and to be held on the housing. A lever is arranged rotatably along the outer surface of either one of the pair of facing walls. The pair of facing walls include, on outer surface sides, movement restricting portions arcuately extending in a rotating direction of the lever and capable of abutting on a surface of a detecting member on a detection position side before the housing and a mating housing are properly connected. The respective movement restricting portions on the outer surface sides of the both facing walls are point-symmetrically shaped with respect to a center position of the cover when the cover is viewed from behind.

Connector assembly comprising a housing and a strain-relief device attached to the housing for clamping a cable in a fixed position at the rear opening of the housing. The strain-relief device comprises first and second portions, both made of a single part and being detachable from the housing. The first portion has a first arcuate surface engaging the outer sheath of the cable, and the first portion also comprising first retaining means engaging the housing for retaining the first portion on the housing. The second portion has a second arcuate surface also engaging the outer sheath, and the second portion also comprising second retaining means engaging the housing for retaining the second portion on the housing. Strain-relief device designed to be mounted on a connector. Method for mounting the strain-relief device with a connector assembly.

Modular plug-in connector system

The invention relates to a plug-in connector, substantially consisting of an insulating body and at least one contact element which is mounted directly in the insulating body, wherein the insulating body directly forms the plug-in connector housing of the plug-in connector. The plug-in connector is of particularly simple construction and can therefore be manufactured quickly. In addition, the plug-in connector is of very robust design and suitable for industrial use, in particular in harsh environments.

HIGH POWER ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH STRAIN RELIEF

A high power electrical connector that includes a housing that has an interface end for mating with a complimentary connector and a cable termination end opposite the interface end for terminating a high power cable. The housing is insulative. An extended anchor member is fixed to an outer surface of the housing. The extended anchor member has a locking end, a strain relief end, and an intermediate extended body therebetween separating the locking end and the strain relief end. A gripping member has a coupling end coupled to the extended anchor member at the strain relief end thereof, and a flexible body configured to provide strain relief to the high power cable.

Protection End Cover, Connector and Connector Assembly

A protection end cover for a sealing ring includes a body having a first end insertable into an insertion hole of a housing of a connector and a second end positioned outside the housing, a first flange on a first outer peripheral surface of the first end of the body, and a second flange on a second outer peripheral surface of the second end of the body. The first flange engages with a blocking part of the housing to prevent the protection end cover from being pulled out of the insertion hole. The second flange abuts against an outer end surface of the housing to limit the protection end cover at a predetermined insertion position.
