Terminal and wire with terminal
A terminal of the present disclosure is the terminal to be connected to a wire including a core and includes a terminal body and a sliding portion. The terminal body includes a sandwiching portion. The sliding portion is slidable in a front-rear direction between a partial locking position and a full locking position. The sliding portion includes a pressurizing portion configured to press the sandwiching portion at the full locking position to sandwich the core in a first direction by the sandwiching portion, at least a pair of first contact portions configured to contact the core in the first direction when the core is inserted into the sliding portion, and at least a pair of second contact portions configured to contact the core in a second direction intersecting the first direction when the core is inserted into the sliding portion.
Cable organizer for a pluggable module
A pluggable module includes a housing and cables arranged as a cable bundle extending from a module cavity of the housing. Each cable includes first and second conductors and an insulator surrounding the conductors. Each cable is obround shaped having generally flat first and second ends and semi-circular first and second sides between the first and second ends. The pluggable module includes a cable organizer coupled to the cable bundle to position the cables relative to each other. The cable organizer has cable channels receiving and holding the cables such that at least a first subset of the cables are oriented with the first and second ends non-parallel to the first and second ends of a second subset of the cables.
Electrical cable assembly
The cable assembly includes a first wire assembly. The first wire assembly is connected to a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a shell and the shell includes an extension. The extension extends away from the rear of the connector. In one embodiment, the extension is integral with the shell. The extension includes one or more openings. The first wire assembly is bent in a controlled manner at first bend. The first opening in the extension maintains the first wire assembly in the bent position to maintain control of the radius in first bend. The radius is controlled to allow the first wire assembly to fit in a small space.
Connector with a locator to position and properly bend a cable during assembly
A connector comprises a locator configured to position a cable. The locator has a front-end surface, a first surface and a second surface and is formed with a positioning groove. The first surface and the second surface are located at opposite sides of the locator, respectively, in the upper-lower direction (Z-direction). The positioning groove has a front groove, a rear groove and a coupling groove. The front groove is recessed rearward from the front-end surface and extends from the first surface to the coupling groove along the upper-lower direction. The rear groove is recessed from the second surface along the upper-lower direction and extends rearward from the coupling groove. When the locator positions the cable, the front groove receives a front regulated portion of the cable, and the rear groove receives a rear regulated portion of the cable.
Cable Protection Cover for Increasing Pull-Out Resistance
A cable protection cover includes a housing attachment section securing the cable protection cover to a housing of an electrical device and receiving an electric connector attached to the housing. The housing attachment section has a connector lock with a locking member restraining the electric connector in a pull-out direction in a position in which the electric connector is attached to the housing.
Wirestrain relief to use on a light emitting diode linear module
Provided is a connection housing including a first plate having a connecting member for slidably connecting the first plate to an electrical assembly. The first plate includes a ridge portion formed across a threading path. A second plate has an opening for non-slidably connecting the second plate to the electrical assembly. The second plate includes a valley portion positioned in opposing relation to the ridge portion. The first and second plates are configured for (i) facilitating placement of a wire along the threading path and (ii) folding onto each other to restrict movement of the wire after the folding.
Two-part and terminal connectors with conductor management device for use in hazardous environments
A terminal connector or two-part connector comprising male and female parts having respective contact pins and contact receivers (10,15) of a construction generally known in the art. In the body (1) of the or at least one part, closely juxtaposed a terminal block (9), there is provided a conductor management device (8) adapted to receive conductors (12) as they are unbundled from the connected cable or reel and support the unbundled or individual conductors through the transitional region of the connector part to where they are secured at the terminal block (9). The conductor management device (8) has through body apertures defining each conductor path (14) to align each conductor with its respective receiver (13). In a different configuration, the conductor management device provides strain relief to the conductors, provides support and conductor rigidity, provides a locking means and is a bore modifier.
ANTENNA MODULE
An antenna module includes: a magnetic core; a first electric wire constituting a coil into which the magnetic core is inserted; a capacitor having first and second terminals and connected in series to the coil; a second electric wire connected to the capacitor; and a base including a capacitor accommodating portion and a core accommodating portion, wherein the capacitor accommodating portion has first and second accommodating portions, the first terminal and a connecting portion of the first electric wire are connected to each other in the first accommodating portion, the second terminal and a connecting portion of the second electric wire are connected to each other in the second accommodating portion, and a portion of an opposite side to the connecting portion in the first electric wire and the second electric wire constitute a harness.
Electrical Connector
Having an advantage in user convenience, an electrical connector for connecting with an electrical cable under a do-it-yourself scenario is provided, where the cable has a knot at a cable end. The connector comprises a connector body and a cover. The connector body has an internal space for housing the knot, an opening for allowing the cable end to access the internal space, and an outlet for allowing the cable to run from the internal space to outside the connector body. The cover has a top plate for covering the opening. In particular, the cover includes two wings protruded from the top plate collectively for claiming the knot to secure the knot inside the internal space. A separation of the two wings is advantageously selected to be 2 times to 3 times of a cross-sectional width of the outlet for producing a clamping effect on the knot.
Electric wire holder having a hole with an internal diameter smaller than an external diameter of an accommodated electric wire
The connector is provided with a connector housing (3) having a holder accommodating chamber (31c), and a rear holder (32A), with an electric wire (21) inserted into an electric wire insertion hole (39) thereof, accommodated within the holder accommodating chamber (31c). The external diameter dimension (D1) of the electric wire (21) is larger than the internal diameter dimension (D2) of the electric wire insertion hole (39) of the rear holder (32A), and the internal diameter dimension (D4) of the holder accommodating chamber (31c) of the connector housing (3) is smaller than the external diameter dimension (D3) of the rear holder (32A) with the electric wire (21) accommodated within the electric wire insertion hole (39).
