ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY HAVING A POLARIZING FEATURE AND A LATCHING FEATURE
An electrical connector includes a contact assembly, a cable assembly terminated to the contact assembly, a cover receiving the contact assembly and the cable assembly, a latch disposed at a bottom of the cover for latching to a mating connector, and an un-mating assembly mounted to the cover and including a lift bar, wherein the latch is operable to unlatch from the mating connector in response to an upward movement of the lift bar while moving upward to dislodge the cover from the mating connector.
SPACE-OPTIMIZED CABLE CONNECTOR INTERFACE
A cable assembly may include a cable having a plurality of electrically-conductive wires including a first set of wires and a second set of wires and a plug terminating an end of the cable, the plug comprising a housing including a locking tab formed on the outside of the housing on a first side of the housing and configured to mechanically couple the plug to a corresponding receptacle connector, a first contact formed on the first side of the housing and configured to expose the first set of wires to a first set of pins of the corresponding receptacle connector, and a second contact formed on a second side of the housing opposite the first side and configured to expose the second set of wires to a second set of pins of the corresponding receptacle connector.
CONNECTOR
It is aimed to make only some of a plurality of housings in a connected state separable. A connector is provided with a first housing and a second housing connectable to the first housing. The second housing includes a detachable housing connectable to the first housing and separable from the first housing and an inseparable housing connectable to the first housing. The first housing and the inseparable housing are provided with an unreleasable lock portion and a lock arm for locking the inseparable housing and the first housing in a connected state. The unreleasable lock portion and the lock arm have no part enabling release of locking by the unreleasable lock portion and the lock arm.
Electronic unit
An electronic unit includes a first board and a second board which are stacked on each other, a first connector mounted on a surface of the first board which faces the second board, and a second connector mounted on a surface of the second board which faces the first board. Each of the first connector and the second connector has a fitting portion and a lock portion configured to lock a fitting of the fitting portion. The fitting portion and the lock portion of the first connector are provided between the first board and the second board in a stack direction in which the first board and the second board are stacked. The fitting portion and the lock portion of the second connector are provided between the first board and the second board in the stack direction.
Connector lock structure
A connector lock structure includes a lock arm that extends along a fitting direction and is formed on a side wall of a connector housing, and maintains a fitted state by being elastically engaged with a counterpart connector housing; a pair of flexible and deformable plate-shaped support walls that protrude rearward of the side wall to sandwich a rear portion of the lock arm therebetween; a coupling portion that couples each of the plate-shaped support walls to the rear portion of the lock arm in a width direction of the connector housing; and an upward protruding portion that protrudes upward than the coupling portion and is formed on each of the plate-shaped support walls.
Modular plug-in connector system
The invention relates to a plug-in connector, substantially consisting of an insulating body and at least one contact element which is mounted directly in the insulating body, wherein the insulating body directly forms the plug-in connector housing of the plug-in connector. The plug-in connector is of particularly simple construction and can therefore be manufactured quickly. In addition, the plug-in connector is of very robust design and suitable for industrial use, in particular in harsh environments.
Electrical connector with connector position assurance and mechanical assist
A connector pair includes a header with a protrusion and an electrical connector assembly movable relative to the header between a mated position and an unmated position. The electrical connector assembly includes a connector housing and a connector position assurance retained on the connector housing for relative linear movement between a lock position and an open position. The connector position assurance includes a first lock surface that engages a second lock surface on the protrusion to retain the electrical connector assembly in the mated position. The connector position assurance includes a first assist surface that engages a second assist surface on the protrusion to move the electrical connector assembly from the mated position toward the unmated position.
Connector Assembly Comprising a Connector and a Connector Position Assurance Device
A connector assembly includes a connector, and a connector position assurance (CPA) device movably arranged with the connector between a first position and a second position. The CPA device assures mating in a mating direction between the connector and a second connector in the second position. The CPA device includes a body and a latching arm extending therefrom in the mating direction. The latching arm defines at least one chamfered surface portion facing at least partially in a force direction perpendicular to the mating direction and abutting against a stopping surface of the connector in the first position.
PLUG CONNECTOR WITH PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE
The present invention discloses a plug connector including an elastic fastener and a protective shield. The protective shield provides protection for the elastic fastener by covering or blocking the latter. In a typical example, the protective shield includes a main plate. The protective shield spans over a pressing piece of the elastic fastener and is overlapped with at least one portion of the pressing piece so as to cover and protect the latter.
INSULATING HOUSING AND ELECTICAL CONNECTOR
An insulating housing and an electrical connector including the insulating housing are provided. The electrical connector, for transmitting power and signal with a mating electrical connector, comprises a body portion, a plurality of power terminals, a power mating portion, at least one signal terminal, and a signal mating portion. The power mating portion has a plurality of column bodies extending from a front surface thereof and accommodating the plurality of power terminals therein. The signal mating portion is connected with the body portion and located over one side of the power mating portion and accommodating at least one signal terminal.
