The metal spring includes: a C-shaped metal spring body; curved parts; elastic pieces that extend from the curved parts so as to face an outer peripheral surface of the metal spring body; inner protrusions provided on an inner peripheral surface of the metal spring body so as to protrude inside the metal spring body; and outer protrusions provided on outer peripheral surfaces of the elastic pieces so as to protrude outside the elastic pieces.
COIL SPRING AND CONNECTOR WITH A COIL SPRING
A coil spring has a longitudinal component located within the coil spring, where the longitudinal component runs generally along the direction of a longitudinal axis of the coil spring and where the longitudinal component is in contact with the coil spring, characterized in that the longitudinal component biases the coil spring into a shape different from its natural shape and/or from the shape into which the coil spring is biased by a groove in which the coil spring is accommodated. Moreover, the coil spring may be shaped by means of the described longitudinal component. Further, a connector part is disclosed that has the described coil spring and is configured for being connected with a mating connector part. And finally, a connector is disclosed which has the described connector part and the mating connector part.
Adapter
Various embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a Network system including: a connector comprising a housing comprising a groove running widthwise on a surface of the housing; and a push-pull tab comprising a complementary groove, wherein the push-pull tab is detachably connected to the housing; and a receiver device comprising one or more ports for receiving the connector, the one or more ports having an interchangeable anchor device including a first portion and a second portion; wherein the groove is configured to receive the first portion of the interchangeable anchor device when the connector is inserted into the receiving element, and wherein the complimentary groove is configured to receive the second portion of the interchangeable anchor device when the connector is inserted into the receiving element, the push-pull tab being configured to disengage the second portion of the interchangeable anchor device from the complementary groove when the push-pull tab is moved in a direction away from the connector, thereby disengaging the first portion of the interchangeable anchor device from the grove of the connector. Other aspects are described and claimed.
CONNECTOR FOR PROVIDING MORE RELIABLE SIGNAL PROPAGATION BY MAINTAINING CONDUCTOR PIN CONTACT AT CERTAIN PERIMETER PORTIONS THEREOF
A connector assembly that may include a connector portion and an adapter portion that are configured to be coupled to each other. The connector and adapter portions may include first and second conductor portions that are configured to be electrically connected to each other. The first and second conductor portions each may include perimeter end portions that are configured to contact each other when the connector portion and the adapter portion are coupled to each other. One of either the first conductor portion or the second conductor portions may include a perimeter end portion and a radially inward extending end portion that may be configured to extend radially inward from the perimeter end portion of the one conductor and may be axially spaced apart in an axial direction from an inward extremity end portion of the other conductor when the connector portion and the adapter portion are coupled to each other. The perimeter end portions of the first and second conductor portions may be configured to maintain electrical contact between the first and second conductor portions so as to improve signal propagation reliability or continuity between the connector and the adapter during operation of the connector assembly.
Locking connector system
A locking connector system for releasably locking a first connector in mechanical engagement with a second connector. The locking connector system generally includes a first connector including a female coupler and a second connector including a male coupler, with the first and second connectors being adapted to mechanically connect to each other. The first connector includes an adjustable latch which selectively engages with a catch portion on the male coupler to lock the connectors together. The latch may be pressed downwardly, such as by use of a connected button, to release the latch from the catch portion and disconnect the connectors. The first connector is adapted to provide audible, visual, and tactile feedback to confirm when the latch engages with the catch portion.
Mounting housing for plug-in connections
Add-on housing for a plug-in connection, which add-on housing has a housing side with at least one first fastening form and a plug-in side with at least one holding form, wherein a flange is arranged between the housing side and the plug-in side, which flange is provided for attaching the add-on housing to an appliance housing, wherein the plug-in side has at least two holding forms, at least one first holding form and at least one second holding form.
Optical fiber connector and optical fiber connector assembly
An optical fiber connector includes: a cylindrical connector body; an optical fiber connection assembly disposed within the connector body proximate to a proximal end of the connector body, the optical fiber connection assembly including a support and at least one elongate member fixed to and extending through the support, the elongate member being configured to couple an optical fiber of an optical fiber cable; a locking assembly for holding the optical fiber cable, the locking assembly being disposed proximate to a distal end of the optical fiber connection assembly; and a sealing element disposed at a distal end of the optical fiber connector, the sealing element being configured to seal the connection between the distal end of the optical fiber connector and an outer periphery of the optical fiber cable.
CONNECTOR
The connector includes: an axial member that is a cylindrical conductor; a central contact disposed inside along a central axis of the axial member; an insulating member interposed between the axial member and the central contact and which holds the central contact; a first flange and a second flange provided on an outer peripheral surface of the axial member; and a metal spring provided along an outer peripheral surface of the axial member. COAXIAL CONNECTOR WITH QUICK LOCKING MECHANISM WITH VISUAL ASSURANCE OF LOCKING
A connector assembly includes: a first connector having a first outer body, the first outer body including visual indicia on an outer surface thereof, the first outer body including first locking features; and a second connector having a second outer body and a coupling sleeve that is slidable axially relative to the outer body, the second connector including second locking features. The first connector is configured for mating with the second connector. When the first and second connectors are mated, the coupling sleeve is movable between an unlocked position, in which the first and second locking features are not engaged and the first and second connectors can be unmated, and a locked position, in which the coupling sleeve causes engagement of the first and second locking features, thereby preventing unmating of the first and second connectors. In the unlocked position, the coupling sleeve does not overlie the visual indicia, such that the visual indicia is visible, and in the locked position, the coupling sleeve overlies the visual indicia, such that the visual indicia is obscured from view.
