A lever is arranged rotatably along the outer surface of either one of the pair of facing walls. The pair of facing walls include, on outer surface sides, movement restricting portions arcuately extending in a rotating direction of the lever and capable of abutting on a surface of a detecting member on a detection position side before the housing and a mating housing are properly connected. The respective movement restricting portions on the outer surface sides of the both facing walls are point-symmetrically shaped with respect to a center position of the cover when the cover is viewed from behind.
PLUG CONNECTION WITH BACKLASH-FREE PRELOAD
Plug-in connection, comprising a plug-in connector (1) which can be plugged together with a mating plug-in connector, M also known as a pin housing (2), it being possible to at least indirectly lock the plug-in connector (1) with the mating plug-in connector (2), characterised in that a bushing housing (3) is provided which at least partially surrounds the plug-in connector (1) and provides the locking with the mating plug-in connector or pin housing (2), and in that the plug-in connector (1), the mating plug-in connector or the pin housing (2) and the bushing housing (3) are operatively interconnected by means of a lever mechanism and can be braced together.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a plurality of terminals fastened in the insulating body, an elastic element mounted to a surface of the insulating body, a camshaft and a shell. The elastic element has a body portion, at least one elastic arm slantwise extended frontward and outward, and then extended frontward from one end of the body portion, at least one extension arm slantwise extended outward and rearward from at least one side of the body portion, and a tail portion slantwise extended upward and rearward from the other end of the body portion. The camshaft is arranged at a rear end of the insulating body. The camshaft has a rotating shaft and a cam portion. The cam portion is arranged corresponding to the tail portion. The shell surrounds the insulating body, the plurality of the terminals, the elastic element and the camshaft.
Electrical connection mount comprising a movable connection element, complementary electrical connection mount, and assembly comprising such mounts
An electrical connection mount extending along an axial direction and comprising a movable element that can move along the axial direction between a contact position and an insulated position, wherein the movable element is configured to come into contact with at least one complementary contact of a complementary electrical connection mount in the contact position while the movable element is configured to be remote from the at least one complementary contact of the complementary electrical connection mount in the insulated position, the electrical connection mount comprising a displacement mechanism configured to move the movable element between the contact position and the insulated position when the electrical connection mount and the complementary electrical connection mount are engaged with each other and rotated relative to each other around the axial direction.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH POSITIVE LOCKING POSITION ASSURANCE
An electrical connector comprises a housing defining a receptacle opening for receiving a mating connector in a mating direction and a terminal positioning component slidably received within the receptacle opening and moveable in the mating direction. The terminal positioning component includes a pin protection plate defining at least one aperture sized to receive a conductive pin of at least one terminal arranged within the housing, and a terminal assurance element extending from the pin protection plate in the mating direction. The terminal assurance element is adapted to prevent the movement of the component in the mating direction when the at least one terminal is in a partially inserted state within the housing. The connector further comprises a first locking element arranged on a wall of the housing for selectively fixing the position of the terminal positioning component within the receptacle in the mating direction.
CONNECTOR
A connector is provided with a first housing, a second housing connectable to and separable from the first housing, a spring member, a first pressing portion and a second pressing portion arranged at positions to accumulate a resilient force in the spring member according to connection of the first housing and the second housing, a first pressure receiving portion and a second pressure receiving portion arranged to receive a resilient restoring force in a direction to connect the first housing and the second housing from the spring member having the resilient force accumulated therein, and a first holding portion and a second holding portion for holding the spring member in a resilient force accumulating state of accumulating the resilient force by the first pressing portion and the second pressing portion only from start to a halfway state of the connection of the first housing and the second housing.
CONNECTOR
An operating member (11) includes a plate-like arm (37) configured to cover an outer surface of a housing (10) and is displaceable to an initial position and a connection position. A resilient piece (48) is provided on an outer edge of the arm (37) and projects along a plate surface of the arm (37). The resilient piece (48) restricts a displacement of the operating member (11) from the initial position to the connection position by resiliently locking a lock receiving portion (32) while being unlocked from the lock receiving portion (32) by being pressed by an unlocking portion (15) of a mating housing (12) and allowing displacement of the operating member (11) to the connection position. The resilient piece (48) is shaped to be delectable and deformable in a direction along the plate surface of the arm portion (37) when being pressed by the unlocking portion (15).
Electrical connector assembly with axial connection assist
A connector includes a first housing, a second housing, a mate assist slider, and a cam gear. The first-housing has a first outer surface. The second housing is configured to mate with the first housing, and the second housing includes a pin extending from a second outer surface. The connector also includes a mate assist slider moveable from an unmated position to a mated position. The connector also includes a cam gear mounted to the first outer surface. The cam gear moves in response to a movement of the mate-assist-slider from the unmated position to the mated position. The cam gear has a cam slot with an inertial detent. A vibratory feedback is provided to an assembler indicative of a properly positioned connector housing when the pin is moved past the inertial detent.
ELECTRICAL PLUG CONNECTOR OPTIMIZED FOR INSTALLATION
An electrical plug connector for a vehicle comprises a plug with a plug casing in which a contact chamber is formed, an electrical contact part arranged in the contact chamber, a locking bolt for releasably attaching a plug-in contact to the contact part, and a socket to be plugged with the plug, a socket casing and a plug-in contact attached thereto. The plug connector has a locking slide attachable to the plug casing that is mounted on the casing for displacement at least into a locking position in a direction transverse to the plugging direction of the plug, to lock the plug to the socket. The locking slide has a guide slot extending substantially transversely to the plugging direction and having an inclined plane to guide the locking bolt of the contact part as it is moved into the locking position.
