An upper surface of the housing has at least two protrusions. The arm member is connected to the handle. The arm member includes two guiding arms, a connecting wall, and two elastic rods. The guiding arms are respectively movably embedded in the corresponding guiding grooves. The connecting wall is connected to the guiding arms and is located between the guiding arms. Each of the elastic rods includes a bending portion. The elastic rods respectively abut against the protrusions and are arranged in series at the same height.
CONNECTOR
A connector is provided with a first housing (10), a second housing (20) connectable to the first housing (10), a guide functional unit (45) for enabling the first and second housings (10, 20) to approach/separate from each other in a relatively unrotatable state, a rotary member (30) for surrounding the first and second housings (10, 20), the rotary member being rotatable about an axis parallel to a connecting direction of the first and second housings (10, 20), and a cam functional unit (46) for causing the first and second housings (10, 20) to approach each other as the rotary member (30) is relatively rotated with respect to the first and second housings (10, 20).
Connector or bayonet style connector and methods for incorporating or using connector
A connector, a bayonet-style connector, and methods for using the connector or bayonet-style connector are provided. At least one connector includes a receiver having an inner volume to receive a connector, and having a pawl; and a pushbutton or actuator that operates to move or unlock the pawl so that a user can insert and lock and/or unlock and remove the connector using only a single hand of the user. At least one bayonet-style connector includes a connector portion having an opening; a receptacle portion that operates to slidingly accept the connector portion and that has a pawl that operates to engage with the opening to lock the connector portion in place; and an actuator that operates to impart force on the pawl to unlock the connector portion so that a user can remove the connector portion using only one hand of the user.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a connector housing (10) with a cavity (15B), into which a terminal fitting (40) is to be inserted. The connector housing (10) is connectable to a mating connector. A retainer insertion opening (30) opens in a side surface of the connector housing (10) and in a direction intersecting an inserting direction of the terminal fitting (40). A retainer (50) can be inserted into the retainer insertion opening to lock the terminal fitting (40). The retainer (50) includes a thin plate (61) extending in an inserting direction of the retainer (50), a convex portion (70) on a lower surface of the thin plate (61) and a groove (71) in the convex portion (70). A projection (25) is provided on a rear part of a locking lance (20) in the cavity (15B) of the connector housing (10) and fits to the groove (71).
Connector and Connector Assembly
A connector assembly that includes a first connector and a second connector. The first connector has a spring member press-fitted into a housing thereof. The second connector has a groove in a housing thereof. At the time of mating, the spring member is inserted in the groove in a mating direction to be deformed elastically in a direction intersecting the mating direction. Then, with the spring member of the first connector elastically deformed in the groove of the second connector, looseness between the housing of the first connector and the housing of the second connector is prevented.
POSITION ASSURANCE APPARATUS, CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY, BATTERY, AND POWER CONSUMPTION APPARATUS
A position assurance apparatus includes a first connecting portion, and a second connecting portion configured to be electrically connected to the first connecting portion. The first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are configured to be electrically connected to a signal circuit through a first connector, so that the signal circuit is turned on in response to the first connector and a second connector being plugged into place.
Poke-through electrical assembly
An electrical power and/or electronic data unit is mountable in a floor, and is fitted with an upper bezel that is openable and closable to provide selective access to an interior of the unit, which is optionally fitted with one or more electrical power or data outlets. A lower insert including an intumescent block is supported below an upper housing, and is angularly adjustable relative to the upper housing. One or more bores or openings formed in the lower insert allow the passage of cords into a pass-through opening in the upper housing, and out through an upper bezel cover.
CONNECTOR
An operating member (11) is displaceable to an assembled position, an initial position and a connection position with respect to a housing (10). The operating member (11) is rotated from the assembled position to the initial position with support shafts (18) inserted into end portions (41) of long grooves (39) serving as a center of rotation and includes a rotating mechanism configured to increase a laterally projecting amount of the housing (10) as the operating member moves from the assembled position toward the initial position and a sliding mechanism configured to move the operating member in a direction to reduce the laterally projecting amount from the initial position to the connection position while the support shafts (18) are displaced relative to the long grooves (39) and proceed with a connecting operation of the both housings (10, 12) by cam engagement with a mating housing (12) during a movement.
CONNECTOR WITH AN OPERATING MEMBER MOUNTABLE IN EITHER OF TWO OPPOSITE ORIENTATIONS AND LOCKS FOR LOCKING THE OPERATING MEMBER AT AN INITIAL POSITION AND A CONNECTION POSITION IN EITHER ORIENTATION.
A moving direction of an operating member (11) from an initial position toward a connection position with respect to a housing (10) is selectable from directions along a first movement path and a second movement path opposite to each other. The housing (10) includes a first lock portion (25) and a second lock portion (26) at positions line-symmetrical with respect to a center of a length along the moving direction of the operating member (11). The first and second lock portions (25, 26) lock and hold the operating member (11) selected to move along the first movement path respectively at the initial position and the connection position and lock and hold the operating member (11) selected to move along the second movement path respectively at the connection position and the initial position.
CONNECTOR
An operating member (11) includes a plate-like arm (37) configured to cover an outer surface of a housing (10) and is displaceable to an initial position and a connection position. A resilient piece (48) is provided on an outer edge of the arm (37) and projects along a plate surface of the arm (37). The resilient piece (48) restricts a displacement of the operating member (11) from the initial position to the connection position by resiliently locking a lock receiving portion (32) while being unlocked from the lock receiving portion (32) by being pressed by an unlocking portion (15) of a mating housing (12) and allowing displacement of the operating member (11) to the connection position. The resilient piece (48) is shaped to be delectable and deformable in a direction along the plate surface of the arm portion (37) when being pressed by the unlocking portion (15).
