Electrical connector with connector position assurance and mechanical assist
A connector pair includes a header with a protrusion and an electrical connector assembly movable relative to the header between a mated position and an unmated position. The electrical connector assembly includes a connector housing and a connector position assurance retained on the connector housing for relative linear movement between a lock position and an open position. The connector position assurance includes a first lock surface that engages a second lock surface on the protrusion to retain the electrical connector assembly in the mated position. The connector position assurance includes a first assist surface that engages a second assist surface on the protrusion to move the electrical connector assembly from the mated position toward the unmated position.
Terminal with Release Lever
The present invention relates to a terminal (1) with a spring force terminal connection (2) with at least one conductor terminal point (K), an insulating material housing (6), a conductor introduction channel (60), and a release lever (5). The release lever (5) is mounted in the insulating material housing (6) pivotably about a pivot axis (A) extending transverse to a conductor introduction direction (E) of an electric conductor between an idle position with closed conductor terminal point (K) and an actuating position with opened conductor terminal point (K). The release lever (5) has two lever arm portions (50) which are spaced apart from one another and which are immersed on both sides of the conductor introduction channel (60) at least partially into the insulating material housing (6). The lever arm portions (50) have in each case a guide portion (53) which face one another and form between them at least a part of the conductor introduction channel (60). The guide portions (53) in the idle position and/or in the actuating position, as seen in the conductor introduction direction, run toward the conductor terminal point (K) in a manner which narrows the conductor introduction channel (60).
CONNECTOR DEVICE
A connector includes an interlock housing to which interlock terminals are provided in addition to a lever that performs connection and disconnection of main terminals with respect to a mating connector. Connection of HVILs is performed in a manner such that after the main terminals are mutually connected through a rotation operation of the lever, a sliding operation of the lever is performed and the interlock housing is pressed down to position the interlock housing on a closing position. Disconnection of the main terminals is performed in a manner such that after the interlock housing is pulled up and positioned on an opening position to mutually disconnect the HVILs, the sliding operation of the lever is performed and the rotation operation of the lever is performed.
Locking mechanism for a plug connector housing
A locking mechanism for first and second housing parts of a housing of a plug connector, includes a push button, which extends in the axial longitudinal direction through an opening of the first housing part into the interior of the housing. The push button is movably arranged, relative to the housing, between predetermined first and second axial positions, which correspond with the first and second positions of the housing parts. The push button and an interior locking element are configured such that the push button is in pressure contact to the locking element and interacts with the locking element such that, in the case of movement of the push button from the first to the second positions a radial pressure contact between the two housing parts is provided such that a gap between the first and second housing parts is minimized.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a plurality of terminals fastened in the insulating body, an elastic element mounted to a surface of the insulating body, a camshaft and a shell. The elastic element has a body portion, at least one elastic arm slantwise extended frontward and outward, and then extended frontward from one end of the body portion, at least one extension arm slantwise extended outward and rearward from at least one side of the body portion, and a tail portion slantwise extended upward and rearward from the other end of the body portion. The camshaft is arranged at a rear end of the insulating body. The camshaft has a rotating shaft and a cam portion. The cam portion is arranged corresponding to the tail portion. The shell surrounds the insulating body, the plurality of the terminals, the elastic element and the camshaft.
Electrical connector with a mate assist system
An electrical connector having a mate assist system including a user actuatable member which slides along an operating direction between a rear position and a forward position, a first and a second rack sections extending parallel to the operating direction, and first and second rotatable cam members having a cam slot configured to receive a respective mounting pin protruding from a mating electrical connector. Each rotatable cam member engages a respective rack section and the first and second cam members rotate in opposite directions when the user actuatable member is moved from its rear position towards its forward position.
ELECTRICAL PLUG CONNECTION HAVING A SELF-LOCKING FUNCTION
An electrical plug connector includes a plug connector housing, a primary locking member and a blocking member. The primary locking member is borne on the plug connector housing to be movable between a locking and an unlocking position and prevents the plug connection from releasing in the locking position and allows it to release in the unlocking position. The blocking member is borne on the plug connector housing to be movable between a blocking and a releasing position and prevents the primary locking member from moving into the unlocking position in the blocking position and allows it to move into the unlocking position in the releasing position. The blocking member is movable from the releasing position into the blocking position by a stop on a mating plug connector housing when the plug connector housing is shifted relative thereto.
POSITION ASSURANCE APPARATUS, CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY, BATTERY, AND POWER CONSUMPTION DEVICE
A position assurance apparatus, which is used for a connector assembly connected to a signal circuit are provided. The connector assembly comprises a first connector and a second connector, which are connected in pairs, wherein the first connector is connected to the signal circuit, and the second connector is inserted in the first connector. The position assurance apparatus comprises a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion, which are electrically connected to each other. The first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are configured to be electrically connected to the signal circuit by means of the first connector, so as to turn on the signal circuit when the first connector and the second connector are inserted in place.
CONNECTOR DEVICE
A lever of a connector can rotate between a first position and a second position and can slide between the second position and a third position. When the lever is rotated to the second position in a state in which the connector whose lever is on the first position is on a fitting preparation position with respect to a mating connector, the connector is drawn to a fitting position, which is closer to the mating connector, by a cam mechanism and a main terminal of the connector and a mating main terminal of the mating connector are connected with each other. When the lever is slid to the third position, a flange portion provided to a housing of the connector and a mating flange portion provided to a mating housing of the mating connector are accommodated in a groove portion of the lever.
