ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLE FAULT PROTECTION
An electrical receptacle contains a plug outlet that has a pair of contacts for electrical connection to respective hot and neutral power lines. A controlled switch, such as a TRIAC, is connected in series relationship between the outlet contact and the hot power line. Sensors in the receptacle outputs signals to a processor having an output coupled to the control terminal of the controlled switch. The processor outputs an activation signal or a deactivation signal to the controlled switch in response to received sensor signals that are indicative of conditions relative to the first and second contacts.
Cable with Signal Detection Function
A cable with a signal detection function includes an insulating core, a second insulating layer, and a signal detection layer. The signal detection layer is for transmitting signal data. The cable further includes a second insulating layer, and plural signal detection layers provided for transmitting signal data. The signal detection layer and the insulating cores are disposed inside the second insulating layer, and the signal detection layer is cladded with plural insulating cores. If the first insulating layer in the signal detection layer is damaged, the signal detection layer will be electrically connected to the conductor assembly. The cable with the signal detection function can detect the abnormality of the insulating core through the signal detection layer to facilitate maintaining and repair the cable.
Wireless monitoring of electrical connector
An electrical connector includes a male electrical plug, a female socket, a housing, and a control system. The male electrical plug, which is supplied with power, is electrically connected to the female socket. The housing contains the male electrical plug, the female socket, and a control system. The control system includes a temperature sensor and a transceiver with the temperature sensor sensing a temperature at a location within the housing and the transceiver transmitting a signal representative of the temperature to an alarm device remotely located from the electrical connector. The electrical connector can include one or more switches that are remotely controllable by the alarm device to interrupt the electrical connection between the male plug and the female socket.
Circuit with timing function and leakage protection plug
Disclosed are a circuit with a timing function and a leakage protection plug. An output terminal of a timing chip U2 is connected to an isolating switch U3; the isolating switch U3 is connected to a rectifier module D3; the rectifier module D3 is connected to a circuit breaker X1; a switch tube Q4 and the switch tube Q3 are connected to a resistor R21, and a second switch terminal of the switch tube Q4 is grounded; an output terminal of a zero sequence current transformer is connected to a first input terminal of a microprocessor U1; and an output terminal of the microprocessor U1 is connected to a control terminal of the switch tube Q4. The leakage protection plug of this disclosure has both leakage protection and timing functions.

POWER PLUG WITH LEAKAGE CURRENT DETECTION INTERRUPTER AND ARC PROTECTION
A power plug with leakage current detection and protection interrupter and arc protection includes: a shell, a trip assembly disposed within the shell, a cable connector electrically coupled to the trip assembly, and an arc protection shield disposed between the trip assembly and the shell. The trip assembly includes a switch having input and output contact terminals. The arc protection shield is configured to isolate the input and output contact terminals of the switch from the shell. The arc protection shield includes one or more arc blocking baffles, each disposed near corresponding input and output contact terminals, so as to isolate the contact terminals from the shell. By providing the arc protection shield between the input and output contact terminals and the shell, the shell is protected from arcs formed at the input and output contact terminals due to connection and disconnection operations. This prevents damage to the shell and improves user experience and safety.
Recreational Vehicle Electrical Plug
A vehicular electrical plug or connector is provided. In another aspect, an electrical connector includes a wire cable having a first end that is permanently connected to a wheeled recreational vehicle, a second end with an outlet-engageable plug thereon, and a switch allowing for a high potential or dielectric withstand test by the vehicle manufacturer in one switch condition, and then the switch allowing for normal use while detecting and/or alerting a user of an electrical ground and/or polarity problem in another switch condition. A further aspect of an electrical connector employs multiple lights on a plug, one of which alerts a user of an electrical ground and/or polarity problem, and another of which is illuminated when electricity is flowing through the plug. Another aspect of a vehicular electrical plug and method of manufacturing same, includes liquid polyurethane fed into a hole in a plug housing which then fills the otherwise open area therein to create a water-resistant seal for the plug.
Structure of ground fault circuit interrupter
A structure of a ground fault circuit interrupter includes a locking arm, which is provided with a stop surface, disposed inside the ground fault circuit interrupter, and a support body fixedly connected to a soft magnet is provided with a stop portion which can interfere with the stop surface that is moving downward. The locking arm is also connected to an elastic element, and under a normal state, the elastic element moves downward the stop surface of the locking arm to interfere with the stop portion of the support body, so that the soft magnet is prevented from moving toward a permanent magnet The locking arm can also be pushed down and driven by a reset button to move upward the stop surface, so that the stop portion and the stop surface no longer interfere with each other.
Electrical devices with longitudinal electrical conductor entries
An electrical wiring device has a longitudinal axis extending between a top surface and a bottom surface. The electrical wiring device includes at least one line phase wiring terminal, at least one neutral wiring terminal, at least one line phase electrical conductor entry extending along the longitudinal axis of the electrical wiring device and extending between the line phase wiring terminal and the top surface or the bottom surface of the electrical wiring device and at least one neutral electrical conductor entry extending along the longitudinal axis of the electrical wiring device and extending between the neutral wiring terminal and the top surface or the bottom surface of the electrical wiring device.
