MOTOR VEHICLE STARTER PROVIDED WITH A THERMAL PROTECTION SYSTEM
The invention relates mainly to a starter for a heat engine of a motor vehicle comprising: at least one electromagnetic contactor comprising a positive output terminal, at least one electric motor, the electric motor comprising: at least one brush cage (43), at least one positive brush (35) mounted in the brush cage (43), an electrical path (91) between the positive brush (35) and the positive output terminal (32), and at least one thermal protection (96) situated in the electrical path (91), in which the thermal protection is suitable for disconnecting the two elements (93, 95) when the thermal protection has a temperature above a temperature threshold to electrically disconnect the positive output terminal relative to the positive brush (35).
Drive Mechanism Including Brushed Motor
A drive mechanism including a brushed motor comprises a brushed motor including a commutator having a plurality of commutator segments and a brush contactable to the plurality of commutator segments, a movable member driven by the brushed motor, and a stopper member configured to stop rotation of the brushed motor by contacting the movable member. In a state in which the movable member contacts the stopper member to thereby stop the rotation of the brushed motor, the brush contacts only one of two adjacent commutator segments of the plurality of commutator segments.

PREDICTIVE BRUSH CONTROL FOR SEPARATELY EXCITED ELECTRIC MOTORS
A device and a method for predictive brush control in separately excited electric motors.
Carbon brush having a centering sleeve
The invention relates to a carbon brush (2), having a wear limit indicating function, having a current-carrying stranded wire being arranged in the brush body (4), and having a stranded indicating wire (10), which, at a stranded wire end section (12), is surrounded and fixed by a sleeve (8) having an infeed opening (22), wherein the sleeve (8) is arranged in a recess (6) being formed in the brush body (4). The sleeve (8) is formed as a centering sleeve, the inner diameter (26a, 26b) of which at the infeed opening (22) nearly corresponds to the outer diameter (24) and features a tapering (30) that is conical in the infeed direction.
