A method for joining a first cable to a second cable that each include at least one electrically conductive inner conductor, an outer sheath which at least partially surrounds the at least one inner conductor, and an insulation material which is arranged at least partially between the at least one inner conductor and the outer sheath. The method includes: bringing an end of each cable together such that at least one inner conductor of the cables are opposite one another and a fusible conductor joining material having a lower melting point than the at least one inner conductor is present in between; and heating at least one of the cables from the outside such that the heat penetrates into an interior of the at least one heated cable so the fusible conductor joining material melts and electrically connects the at least one inner conductor of the cables to one another.

CRIMP CONNECTOR

A crimp connector for a wire includes first and second clamping plates connected via a bending portion so as to be pivotable with respect to one another for clamping the wire between them in a clamping state. Inner surfaces of the clamping plates are designed as clamping surfaces having a plurality of elongated depressions and elongated ribs that run perpendicularly to a pivot axis of the bending portion. The ribs of one clamping plate are each arranged and dimensioned in such a way that they are at least partially arranged in the depressions of the other clamping plate in the clamping state such that a wire clamped between the clamping plates in the clamping state is formed into a meandering shape. Distance between adjacent depressions in at least one of the first and second clamping plates varies along the clamping surface on a straight line parallel to the pillar axis.

Lens module

A lens module is disclosed. In the lens module, each group of shape memory alloy wires comprises two ends fixed to one of a base and a lens base, and a drive end located between the two ends, the other one of the base and the lens base is provided with a fixing member. The drive end is connected to the fixing member. The fixing member is provided with a flapper for preventing the drive end from escaping the fixing member. By adding a flapper to the fixing member, it may effectively prevent the shape memory alloy wires from escaping the fixing member. Besides, when one group of shape memory alloy wires operates, it does not result in extra stress to other groups of shape memory alloy wires, thereby prolonging service life of the shape memory alloy wires.

CONDUCTIVE CONNECTING MEMBER

A conductive connecting member includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and a braided member for electrically connecting the first and second terminals. The braided member is a member formed by braiding a plurality of metal stands each other. The braided member includes a first fixing portion to be fixed and electrically connected to the first terminal, a second fixing portion to be fixed and electrically connected to the second terminal and an intermediate portion serving as a part of the braided member between the first and second fixing portions. The intermediate portion retains its own shape in a natural state where no external force is applied and is deformed to allow a relative movement of the second terminal with respect to the first terminal when an external force for relatively changing a position of the second terminal with respect to the first terminal is applied.

An electrical connector for connecting electrical conductors in an aircraft includes a pin having a first contact surface and a socket to receive the pin. The socket has a second contact surface contacting a first contact surface of the pin when the pin is in the socket. A securing part is positioned to apply a contact or clamping force pressing the contact surfaces against each other. The securing part includes a shape memory alloy to exist in a martensite an austenite phase depending on temperature of the securing part, wherein the securing part assumes a first pre-set shape when the temperature is below a first temperature threshold, and a second pre-set shape when the temperature is above a second temperature threshold higher than the first temperature threshold, wherein the contact or clamping force applied by the securing part in the second pre-set shape is greater than in the first pre-set shape.
