CONTACT ELEMENT ASSEMBLY FOR A PLUG CONNECTOR PART
A contact element assembly for a plug connector part which is connectable in a plug-fitting manner to a mating plug connector part includes: a contact element which has a contact section for making electrical contact with a mating contact element, and a connecting section for producing a crimp connection with an electrical line connectable to the contact element. The connecting section is made of a copper alloy and has an opening for receiving the line and a circumferential surface delimiting the opening. The connecting section has a surface structure which is formed on the circumferential surface and operatively connects to the electrical line upon producing the crimp connection by reshaping the connecting section.
CRIMP TERMINAL AND TERMINAL-ATTACHED WIRE
The present disclosure provides a crimp terminal in which a core wire is kept from coming loose. The crimp terminal 14 includes a plate-like crimp portion 15 that is to be crimped to a core wire of an electric wire by being deformed so as to wrap around the core wire, and a protruding portion 16 that protrudes from the inner surface of the crimp portion 15. A groove 21 that extends along a direction that intersects the extending direction of the core wire is provided in the protruding portion 16.
CRIMPING TERMINAL
A crimping terminal includes a conductor crimping portion, the conductor crimping portion including: a bottom plate on which a conductor of an electric wire is disposed; and a pair of conductor tightening pieces extending from both side edges of the bottom plate, the conductor crimping portion configured to be crimped and connected to the conductor by tightening the conductor in a state where the conductor is covered with the conductor tightening pieces. The conductor crimping portion includes a serration extending in a groove shape across the pair of conductor tightening pieces and the bottom plate in a direction intersecting an extending direction of the conductor to be disposed on the bottom plate, and a width of an opening of the serration is equal to or larger than a width of a bottom surface of the serration.
CRIMP CONNECTOR
A crimp connector for a wire includes first and second clamping plates connected via a bending portion so as to be pivotable with respect to one another for clamping the wire between them in a clamping state. Inner surfaces of the clamping plates are designed as clamping surfaces having a plurality of elongated depressions and elongated ribs that run perpendicularly to a pivot axis of the bending portion. The ribs of one clamping plate are each arranged and dimensioned in such a way that they are at least partially arranged in the depressions of the other clamping plate in the clamping state such that a wire clamped between the clamping plates in the clamping state is formed into a meandering shape. Distance between adjacent depressions in at least one of the first and second clamping plates varies along the clamping surface on a straight line parallel to the pillar axis.
Crimp Terminal
A crimp terminal includes a crimping segment having a base, a first side wall extending from the base, and a second side wall extending from the base opposite the first side wall. The crimping segment has a first surface adapted for arranging a wire thereon along a longitudinal axis and a second surface opposite the first surface. The first side wall has a first serration on the second surface. The second side wall has a pair of second serrations on the second surface. The first serration is displaced from the second serrations along the longitudinal axis and, in a crimped state, a portion of the first serration is positioned between a pair of portions of the second serrations along the longitudinal axis.
Socket contact element for an electrically conductive connection
The invention relates to a socket contact element for establishing an electrically conductive connection including a crimp section for establishing an electrically conductive connection to a line and a contact box for establishing a detachable electrically conductive connection to a contact box plug, wherein the socket contact element is constructed in one piece and includes a plurality of integrally implemented functions based on geometrical designs. Furthermore, the invention relates to a sheet-shaped semifinished product for producing a socket contact element and the production method by forming.
Terminal-equipped electric wire with exposed wire having insulative sheath covering end part crimped and protected with anticorrosive material
A terminal-equipped electric wire includes: an electric wire in which a conductor is covered by an insulating cover; a crimp terminal including a conductor crimping portion crimped to the conductor exposed from an end of the insulating cover, a cover crimping portion crimped to the insulating cover, and an intermediate portion that couples the conductor crimping portion and the cover crimping portion and in which the conductor is exposed; and a anticorrosive material covering at least the conductor exposed in the intermediate portion. The intermediate portion has grooves that are provided on a surface on the conductor side and formed from both end portions in a circumferential direction such that each of the grooves is formed toward a center side in the circumferential direction.
Terminal and a Connector
A terminal includes a bottom wall having a through hole, a pair of sidewalls disposed on a pair of sides of the bottom wall, and a first elastic arm extending from a first side of the through hole in a direction away from the bottom wall. The sidewalls and the first elastic arm contact a pin inserted into the through hole.
INTEGRATED CABLE WITH PROCESSING DEVICE
An electrical crimp ferrule includes a circumferential center portion, a first circumferential flank connected to the center portion, and a second circumferential flank connected to the center portion. The circumferential center portion integrally connects the first and second circumferential flanks. At least one crimp diameter compensation element extends from at least one of the first circumferential flank or the second circumferential flank and is adapted to engage with an electrical cable having a non-circular cross section in a crimped state of the ferrule.
Electrical male terminal
An electrical male terminal of this invention includes a clamp or crimp area, a main body, and a blade. Protruding members and support members of the main body act as overstress protection. A panel shield member protects a protruding guide member. In another embodiment of this invention, a protruding member extends from a first support member of the main body, and a cut-out portion at the lower portion of the main body accommodates therein the protruding member to prevent the tang member from inadvertently or accidentally rotating relative to the lower portion of the main body. Furthermore, in this another embodiment of the electrical male terminal of this invention, a protrusion extends from the unattached end portion of the lever member for allowing the lever member to deflect upward when the protruding member of the unattached end portion interacts with an internal protrusion of a housing or connector assembly, thereby making it more difficult to remove the electrical male terminal from the housing or connector assembly, thereby protecting the electrical male terminal from inadvertently falling out during use.
