Insulation-Piercing Connector

A cable connector assembly includes a pair of sub-assemblies movable in translation relative to each other along a clamping direction and a tightening device tightening the sub-assemblies along the clamping direction. Each of the sub-assemblies is pivotable relative to a pivot axis extending perpendicular to the clamping direction. Each of the sub-assemblies has a main housing and a clamping part at least partially housed within the main housing. The clamping part is movable in translation relative to the main housing along the clamping direction. The tightening device tightens the sub-assemblies along the clamping direction with a first clamping region formed between the sub-assemblies that receives and clamps a first cable. A secondary clamping region is formed in each of the sub-assemblies between the clamping part and the main housing that receives and clamps a secondary cable.

Stamped hotline clamp

A stamped hotline clamp having two parallel top side walls, two parallel bottom side walls, a hinge pin, a conductor plate, a saddle and an elongated metal shaft. The hinge pin pivotably connects the top side walls to the bottom side walls on one end. At the other end, a standoff separates and connects the top side walls and a contact plate connects the bottom side walls. The bottom side walls pivotably contact the saddle. The conductor plate extends between the top side walls and pivotably contacts the contact plate when the clamp is closed. The top end of the shaft is inserted through an opening in the saddle and threaded into an aperture in the conductor plate. Rotating the shaft in a clockwise direction closes the clamp and rotating the bottom end of the shaft in a counter-clockwise direction opens the clamp.

Floor ground clamp

An electrical grounding clamp is provided, wherein the clamp includes a U-bolt, an inner clamp part connected to the U-bolt to clamp a floor support between the inner clamp part and the U-bolt and an outer clamp part connected to the U-bolt to clamp a conductor between the inner clamp part and the outer clamp part, wherein at least one of the inner clamp part and the outer clamp part is pivotable about one leg of the U-bolt to releasably engage the other leg of the U-bolt.

CONNECTION TERMINAL FOR A CONTINUOUS ELECTRICAL CONDUCTOR
20170229790 · 2017-08-10 ·

A connection terminal for connecting an electrical device to a continuous electrical conductor such as a ground conductor includes a connector body with at least one terminal connection. Each terminal connection includes a recess which extends in a direction of extension of the electrical conductor and a holding device to at least partially close the recess. The holding device is adjustable relative to the direction of extension of the electrical conductor from an open position in which the electrical conductor can be inserted into the recess to a closed position in which the holding device holds the electrical conductor in the recess. The holding device is either reversibly rotatable in a direction of rotation around an axis which extends in the direction of extension or reversibly displaceable in a sliding direction which extends transverse to the direction of extension. The terminal connection includes a clamping means device which clamps the electrical conductor and/or the holding device in the closed position.

Grounding cross connectors including clamping pads for coupling at least two conductors

Various implementations of grounding cross connectors are disclosed. The grounding cross connectors may be used to clamp together two or more, often perpendicular, conductors. In some implementations, a grounding cross connector includes an upper clamping pad and a lower clamping pad held together by a pair of threaded fasteners. A pair of perpendicular conductors may be placed in between the clamping pads and secured together by torqueing nuts on the threaded fasteners. The upper clamping pad may include a hook through which one of the threaded fasteners may pass, thereby allowing the upper clamping to rotate relative to the lower clamping pad.
