GROUNDING SYSTEM

A grounding system, structured to ground a number of cables supported by a support assembly, includes a multi-function line assembly and a number of conductive mounting assemblies. Each conductive mounting assembly is structured to be coupled to the multi-function line and to a conductive pile.

Electrical assembly

An electrical assembly having a housing with a housing pot and a housing cover closing the housing pot and at least two connection terminals provided for the electrical connection of the assembly. The connection terminals each comprise a base plate, a clamping plate, which can be arranged on the base plate, for clamping at least one electrical conductor between the base plate and the clamping plate, a contact pin protruding into the housing pot, and a screw for fastening the clamping plate to the base plate. The housing pot is a hollow cylinder with a closed bottom and the electrical connection terminals are arranged along an imaginary circular line on the housing. The base plates and/or the clamping plates each have a trapezoidal base area.

In various representative aspects, an assembly for connecting and electrically bonding electronic equipment to solar panel frames is provided. The present invention relates generally to an assembly for supporting junction box structures used in a solar panel frame array. More specifically, the apparatus comprises an adjustable bracket assembly that can mount most sizes and shapes of junction boxes that are then secured virtually to any solar panel frame while being electrically bonded by way of a surface layer penetrating means.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLIES

An electrical connector assembly can include a housing having a connection opening configured to receive a conductor, and a lug channel in communication with the connection opening. The assembly can also include one or more lug motion resistance features extending from at least one of the housing and the lug. The one or more lug motion resistance features are configured to resist motion of the lug toward the closed position to retain the lug in the open position.

Stamped hotline clamp

A stamped hotline clamp having two parallel top side walls, two parallel bottom side walls, a hinge pin, a conductor plate, a saddle and an elongated metal shaft. The hinge pin pivotably connects the top side walls to the bottom side walls on one end. At the other end, a standoff separates and connects the top side walls and a contact plate connects the bottom side walls. The bottom side walls pivotably contact the saddle. The conductor plate extends between the top side walls and pivotably contacts the contact plate when the clamp is closed. The top end of the shaft is inserted through an opening in the saddle and threaded into an aperture in the conductor plate. Rotating the shaft in a clockwise direction closes the clamp and rotating the bottom end of the shaft in a counter-clockwise direction opens the clamp.
